I had to explain this to a Jedi yesterday...

I am paidto kill you. Killing you is "Job 1". There is no "Job 2".

fight fair

relieve the tedium of your grind

enhance your PvP/FRS rating

entertain and amuse your little sycophants

If I see you're ready for me, I'll assume you've used the /duel exploit to uncover my TEF status. Whether I attack or not is my choice. You can sit there and spin for all I care.

Don't kill LD jedi. I know there are many who say to get paid at any cost, but I still find this to be pretty sleazy (even as far as most bh tactics go). Prettymuch anything else goes. I am neutral solely so I don't have to here the "but your blank, your not supposed to kill blank". There is one bh in particular on my server who only kills LD and padi's. He is one of the most hated people on the server, for other reasons as well but those are what he is famous for. Anything else is fair game. See sig for further details.

My code:

I don't talk smack.

I don't hunt imperials.

I'll try for a win by stealth (i.e. interloping into duels etc.) or by straight out battle prowess, depending on the circumstances.

If I lose, I say 'good fight,' and walk away.

If I win, I say 'good fight,' and walk away.

If my mark ever becomes suspicious of me or is aware that I'm following him, I abort mission. I enjoy having the element of surprise on my side, and if I lose it, I consider my mission to be a failure.

Don't kill guildmates.

Everything else is fair game, and everything you do is fair.

Its in the game for a reason, have the ablility to do something? Then do it.

That and try to DB every person that uses exploits.

my code: leave no prisnors. i don't like getting paid off they are worth enough dead anyways but if they won't to pay more than there worth ill consider.i respec honorable batles. ill hunt down my own faction for credtis. many may hate me but i don't realy care.

My code is simple:

I will do the job I am hired to do. I will not drop my mission under any circumstances - either you or I die.

I will not drop my mission for the convenience of the target. You are on the terminals because of something you did, not me. Don't expect I'll forgive your lack of discretion. If you don't want to be hunted, don't generate visibility.

I don't care if you are also Imperial - Order 66 was issued by the Emperor, and despite your avowed allegiance I will kill you for your crime. Be thankful I'm not Lord Vader, I will at least make your death a swift one.

If you are on my Friends list, I'm still coming for you if I get your mission - in the old days I wouldn't have chosen it but now I get no say. Thank your fellow Jedi for that one. However, I will give my friends fair warning and if you like, we can settle it with a duel to the death, as gentlemen. If you're not on my friends list, you have not earned that honor yet.

I will not hunt you if you are in my group - if we are working together for a common goal, we set our other issues aside. When we're done, then I'll kill you - and it will probably be a duel of honor.

I will accept money from my victim in a futile attempt to preserve his life - and then I will do my job anyhow.

I will not give you the satisfaction of a "fair fight" - I will kill you by any legitimate means necessary.

I will not let my victim define an "exploit" as anything that kills him. I play by the rules, but my victim does not make those rules.

I will attack my mark even if he is LD or AFK - I won't be an enabler to those who /quit to save their skins and I will educate those who leave the keyboard when vulnerable.

If you are a Jedi and do not behave like one (for instance, humping everyone at my best friend's wedding), I will show you no mercy. I will kill you as often as I get the chance, and I will use every sneaky trick in the book.

Once the contract is fulfilled, one way or the other, all is well again. If you're sporting about it I'm glad to chat and you might make a friend. If you want to send me hate tells and insult me, knock yourself out... I got my money and you got a trip to the cloner. But if you do send me nasty tells... see above.

If I do NOT have a mark on you, you're not worth the energy to pull the trigger. I fight on my terms, and I fight for money. Insult me and mock me all you want, but I don't duel for free. All that will get you is a mental note on my $#!+-list... and see above.

When I get a bonus for chivalry, then I'll bring it to work with me. Until then, Jedi, you're just credits on my bottom line.

Yes, folks - I consider myself honorable. However, honor is a reciprocal value, so I do not afford it to those who don't exhibit it themselves.
