If they really wanted to they could link the 2 accounts. For one Lucas Arts could request that SOE provide your name. All they would have to then do, is look at the Beta application from Fileplanet. When you subscribe to fileplanet they also take your name and information. Doesn't seem to hard to me. Continue breaking hte NDA if you like. You just give Beta testers a bad name.
However like you said, some of what you stated could be linked to trailers i guess. I don't know first hand cause I have not finished downloading the game. I've heard bad things about it though from gamespy's game forums.
