Not really. What's probably the most popular BH double mastery; Combat Medic as well as all the ranged professions has ranged support as a pre-req, which is the same as BH. The general consensus atm is that the new ranger req's will be two branches of scout, rather than one scout and ranged support.
edit: Ranged support, not 'one ranger'...

Yeah that's why I said the Scout prereqs will hurt however if Ranger does infact get any combat mods (like general ranged speed/accuracy) I wouldn't count out them making Ranged support one of the two required branches. That will save a good 12 sp if that's what it ends up being.
Either way though at least you don't have to master Scout, that was insane.
then you should be able to get MBH, M Ranger, and CM, 4xxx
(unless their mean and they make it Trapping/hunting...or Ranged support explorer to be really nice
Either way..I can see it being really overpowered at first..then get nerfed into oblivion
In addition to that, we've been testing the Ranger out with general ranged / melee combat mods (Ranged Accuracy, Ranged Defense, Speed and Melee Defense) and it looks promising. We'll keep you posted.
The inclusion of GMS and GMA means they do indeed appear to be planning to make it separate from mode of combat (thankfully) which means, with a fairly big probability, ranged support is certainly not going to be a prerequisite.
... can't say I'm complaining, would rather much like to see squad leader be made combat mode separate aswell.
