Thread: im at the breaking point
well I understand your frustration, but that is the way it works. Jedi have no reason to fight and I certainly dont begrudge them running away. Sometimes you just need to grab another mission, or be patient. I hunted a mark this weekend on Tat. He was with a big group, I came in and shot at him and he went for his bike and got away before I could hit the bike. I pulled my bike and chased him until he finally got within about 20m and I targeted his bike dismounted and hit the bike. I hit him a few more times and someone in his group offered him a ride, I KD'd him and hit him a few more times, he got another ride and off to a safe house. I tracked him to where is safe house was and waited in an Imp base for about 20 minutes and he came back out to grind with his friends. Followed him back to his group and hit him again, missed his bike again, stupid targeting macro, and he fled back to the house. Well I thought he was done for sure this time, but I gave it another 15 minutes and went back to the Imp base to hideout and he was already back with his group. This time I came in hit the bike and then started working him over. We had about a five minute fight and then I got the incap and DB. I think he just realized I wasnt going away and decided to fight me for better or worse. Well he got killed but was a good sport and probably the best hunt I have ever had.
Usually when I have a house hiding jedi I have to gauge the situation. If they are solo hunting they will run to their house and if I wait long enough they will just log off, then I leave and check their online status for a bit or grab a new mission. When I find a jedi grinding in a group they are probably trying to group and have fun with their friends, so you know they are not going to house hide for long. Especially now with Double XP, jedi are out trying to get as much as possible with the time they have. Every case is different, but evaluating the situation can really help you determine whether you should stay or get a new mission.
Um...
What's with this "running away" thing you're all talking about. It seems to me he's complaining that they're on Kashyyyk and he is unable to go to Kashyyyk as he doesn't have the expansion.
With Space it was a bit different, because although they can hide in space, *nobody* could hunt them. But now BH's with the expansion have a distinct advantage over those without it. (but if you ask me it's not much of an advantage for me personally - aside from my proton carbine)
You are complaining the other people bought the expansion, but you didn't, so now you can't go where they go?
ROFL. Thanks for that.
I say Jedi should gain exp equal to the Bounty Hunters $ reward if they are killed.
Gives the Jedi a reason to just kill the BH and get on with Grinding, eh?

The best pickins are right under your nose. They are over confident, self absorbed, and think they are invulnerable. Grab 2 or 3 of you, get their mission, and prove them otherwise. It is a blast, and trust me, if you can take down NK-Nekrosis, you can beat the knights.
Like he said. I'm a high level jedi and BH's rarely come looking for me. I'm confident (maybe overly so) and so I pretty much wander the main cities freely. I don't pvp in the cities, I don't wave my saber around or anything like that. I just assist newbies and heal whoever has bad wounds because the only doctors left in the game are BH's who only use their doctor skills for their jedi hunting and leave people who need help walking around with wounds for days begging for help. Talk about self absorbed. Sometimes I just sit in the cantina for hours. I see 20 different master bounty hunters come in, get their BF healed and walk away and none of them run to the terms and pick up my mission. What's the deal with that?
Maybe if the next patch makes healing and defender at a reasonable level will they come after you. Who wants to spend at least 20 minutes looking for your specific mission if there chances of beating you are slim to none. If they want to put together a group to beat you then add 20 minutes for each additional person. If healing is beatable then I will start fighting knights again (I used to do it pre cu) and then maybe you'll see more action.
Fought a FT knight. It didnt take 20 minutes.
I broke, dropped BH 3 days ago.
Just got tired of the drama.....
You guys have fun!

Did you die in 1 minute?
Anyway I was talking about how long it takes to find a specific jedi on the terminals.
