sad sad sad sad state this game is in now. Bring back the days before holocrons when almost everyone wanted a jedi and no one knew how. I would gladly trade my jedi for my pair of graul maulers and my laser rifle (ahazi didnt get t-21 till pub 7 or so). when they were still powerful and intimidating.

You come here and say (rather arrogantly I might add), that a solo BH can't kill you even if you are AFK. But when he brings friends, it's griefing?
We're just supposed to leave you, and every other MDef/MLS/H 4xx4 (yeah, that's a rare template) alone. We shouldn't even try to attack you because it's futile and bothers you. But wait, I brought enough people to kill you and finish my mission? That's griefing!
I'm really interested in a response here.

First off, your play style and my play style seem to be very similar... I've been playing SWG for a while and, up until recently, always played a crafter with just enough combat to be a successful MBE... However, having come back from a year hiatus I /respec to a full combat template (non-jedi).
From day one my play style was all about making stuff for others to use, helping other players, and adventuring with friends... That is why I picked up the SWG box... To roleplay in a Star Wars environment in a game that would continually change so that it would keep my attention...
I picked a mon cal because:
1. It was different
2. It would be more of a challenge
I never wanted the "I win button" and, as such, never had any interest in being Jedi **other** then to unlock a 2nd character slot 
Anyhow, if **you*** just want to PvE then Jedi is not the profession for you... You **can** be a powerful PvEer w/o being a Jedi! Jedi is a unique type of profession that is not part of your intial SWG game purchase... You have the opportunity to become a Jedi but not a right.
I'm not trying to come across as lecturing man but you got to ask yourself, if the Deadalus Project did a survey on what kind of players typically picked up Jedi what kind of players do you think they would be LoL???
I would wager a guess that just as many people (if not more) pick up Jedi to "grief" others. Just look at the posts of most Jedi! Many are nothing but a bunch of immature males (usually teenagers) on a power trip to make up in a fantasy world what they dont/cant have in real life!!!!
I play a BH not because I like griefing players... If I could use aHolocron to sort out the mature Jedi from the immature Jedi I would never take a single mission against mature Jedi of *either* faction...
I see Jedi as being the next "Bully" class... When the game first launched it was Commandoes with their fire dot... Now all those kids are Jedi... They will kill you with their saber and then tell you, "pawned nub".
Killing those Jedi and breaking their illusion of power is what I now play BH... Now that I'm back from a hiatus I will unlocked my Jedi... But just so I get a 2nd free toon and the abilities... Maybe one day when they balance Jedi I might want to give it a try... But right now Jedi is going to be a difficult class to play cause of the people it draws... SOE has to balance that out... So until the game is balanced so that power tripping immature players arent bullying and dominating others around with their Jedi, Jedi will need to have some weakness and incentives not to be one.
I'm sorry your play style is ruined ATM... Like I said, you and I sound similar... But Jedi is an optional class that is not something you were promised to have when you bought the game... Only the opportunity to play one of you so desired and sought it out... You always have your main toon to play if you want to PvE in peace and not worry about a BH coming to get you

I've found its usually best to simply read a posting by a Jedi here. The only reason most of them do it is to start crap. Really, who cares all that much about what they have to say. Its usually some mildly amusing reading but, nothing with any substance.
