Don't you know it's the Jedi's code to avoid all Unneccesary combat.
If running away means no combat, then that is the right thing to do.
A Jedi is only supposed to fight when they are out of all other options(i.e. if reasoning, fleeing, jedi mind trick doesn't work)
As a player Jedi, that's a pretty weak reason.
Also, fear and aggression are pathways to the dark side. So....what about Imp Jedi?
Ah, you could say a Dark Jedi runs away in fear, while a Light Jedi runs away in wisdom.

Sure. Now, can you imagine Vader running from anyone?

what is the Jedi way that is displayed by the many? SWG Jedi don't follow any type of "Jedi way" from what I have seen...
LOL, I had an interesting meeting with a BH today... We were at our PA hall having a guild meeting, and I see a guy driving up, do a /tar name; /examine and I see he is a BH.
We continue talking, and I mention that we have a no guild member right outside the guild hall (set to public, BTW... He states that he was not here to attack anyone, just checking missions. Well, getting that little prickly feeling on the back of my neck, I get the feeling he is after me.
So I walk down Stairs and by this time he is inside the Guildhall trying to figure out which room I am in. We meet in the main room, and he just stands there for a bit. I know he is trying to size me up and so forth, or he would have attacked. I did not feel the urge to run and hide, but I did not wish to waste life needlessly. So I just said "I have no desire to kill you, but I am here if you must."
He then mentioned that he was Imp, and won't hunt fellow Imps, and that the mission was dropped. We both /bow and he was gone. I later tipped him the 226k my bounty is normally worth for his efforts since he did take the time to actually do the work and track me down.

what Jedi are you talking about? certainly not SWG Jedi for the most part. SWG Jedi will cry and whine when you hunt them and kill them but when they are done grinding they will stomp on your face and spit on you as they laugh.

If I incapped you, and chose not to D/B you, would you at that point give up your hunt for me, and leave peacefully?
maybe... but how many do you think would not DB me when given the chance?
Any lightside jedi that is intelligent in any way.
b/c doesn't killing a BH that comes after you raise your vis even more?
So wouldn't it be more benificial to the jedi to have the conflict end peacefully?
Chance are, if you've been fighting a BH...you already raised your vis.

No, I said if a Dark Jedi runs away, it is in fear. Vader would not run away, making him irrelavent.

There was no if. Your statement sounded like "Dark Jedi runs, but for a different reason".
