i'd be fine with this if they beefed MBH up...its nice postCU but face it, no one with MBH/mmarks/mscout could hope to take a full templated jedi. maybe if they threw in some cool stuff to mbh for use against player targets only, like traps, etc this could be cool

The balance will come when the new smuggler revamp happens and we finally get our (smuggler, and BH maybe) content. Everyone will jump on the smuggler bandwagon. Then...whats that... Ranger and Squad Leader get their revamp? Time to go one of those. Remember that their arent many dedicated players sticking to one profession anymore. Everyone wants to be the new fad profession that the new publish creates. If the devs made all the roleplaying professions intesting, then you would see more multiple account players (Roleplaying professions being BH, smuggler, Jedi,Squad Leader, Ranger, and Commando. The rest of the combat professions are just weapons training.)

Did you actually take your time to count the number of jedi vs the other professions on each server to come to this conclusion?
If perma death is reinstated, do you think people will actually regrind their jedi for each perma death? Most if not all jedi will quit resulting in lost revenue for SOE. The persons who do regrind their jedi will quit after the second perma death. No jedi = nothing to hunt for bounty hunters.
If XP loss for PVE is put back into place, then jedi will not have any chance of having PVE fun, as they will be to worried to lose xp. When xp loss was in affect pre cu, jedi would not do any fun pve other than grinding till they finished their template. This is a game & games are played to have fun, & don't forget that.

Looks like we got ourselves a Jedi whiner right here.

Do you know what the term whiner means?
Whiner "A complaint uttered in a plaintive tone."
What I wrote is not a complaint, but just an eye opener because you seem to have yours closed.

I totally agree with being a MBH before hunting Jedi or not being able to hunt over 100K till a master, something like that would work. As for respec BH's, most will evetually get bored and move on. After Smuggler revamp the BH prof will lose some to smuggler. If smugglers get quests that get them on the boards then Jedi will be a little safer as alot of BH's will go after smugglers for a change in fights and a new challenge. If SOE will get off their butts and get some of these things fixed and implemented then it will start to balance out.

Humm, to be honest, the MM isnt a bad idea, but scout, for the love of pete, why? All but the terrain nego is just crap in regards to BH. Ive been a MBH prior to them dropping the scout requirement, and i totally gimped BH in regards to SP need for a second master weapon skill. And to be honest before the CU MM didnt do ANY thing "good" for us, post CU its a valid option. Now if they added something like a thrown snare for PvP in the trapping line, and the ability to take a scalp from our dead mark then ok id consider M Scout. And, give me back my spray shot as it was pre cu, and my torso shot as it was pre cu
. I miss that 600+ fire tick from my DE-10, and well while we are at it give me back my uber DE-10. But im willing to let these slide, because MBH has went from a LOW offense, LOW defense temp to a very viable option for many playstyles.
Now why do we have soo many MBH, well respec for sure! But alot of them dont even hunt Jedi, MBH is a great added profession to any ranged temp, period. It adds, defenes especially duel stance, a couple of decent/best damage shots, a KD, a state special (which in my opinion all state effect need to be reevaluted in regards to them sticking and actually working as 'intended'), and Acc/Speed. In a word its great for all ranged prof's. So simply looking at the database and see how may people have MBH in my mind has little to do with how many actually hunt jedi, Its more to do with people feeling it fits well with there playstyle and complements there other ranged profesion.

Click the link to the second line in my Sig.
Notice where it mentions bounty hunters.
This should hint that there are supposed to be more bounty hunters than Jedi.

Ironically you guys have a lot in common with Jedi now. With the respec and insance increase in numbers you lost a lot of BH "uniqueness". It used to be cool seeing MBH wondering around, as it wasn't the easiest profession to grind. Now with the huge nubers, when you see a BH, it doesn't matter if he is a oldschool or respec everyone assumes you are just a FOM fanboy. Don't be surprised when non-bh professions start to point fingers your way with the same general resentment as toward Jedi.
I guess as a dedicated TK I should be glad that you guys at least cleaned our "TK" FOM trash that has been plaguing our profession pre CU.
