Everytime you loot, a 1D10000 die is rolled. That means there are 10000 possibities everytime you loot. You odds do not go up eith each kill..they are the same 1 in 10000 each and every time.

what temp have u got man doing so many missions ?

Done 250 missions + so far since the changes and no power cells yet

It was a true grind yesterday. I probalby went through more food and droids than social security. Just to let you know...about 10 marks I tracked ended up being on Dantooine MO right inside. I got off my ship and ate food and started attacking. No travelling necessary. Was nice. Also some of my missions were pretty close to player cities so I was able to knock missions out pretty quickly. Who knows..maybe that was my downfall as to the crap loot I got.

Follow the dev tracker and you will see I am giving you exactly what one of the devs said on this very board a few days ago. You may not agree with what the devs say, but I am pretty sure that if one is willing to come here and say its a 1D10000 die that is rolled...it most likely is.

Ok no problem. I just really don't want another night like I had last night again is all. LOL.

yeah i can see someone getting 5 in a row with 1/10,000 die roll because if i assume that loot tables are always changing. so if a ca was given out cause a 900 was rolled that 900 spot will hold some new loot for the next 900 being rolled i assume. thats the only way i can see 5 in a row . the table has to be changing and that person just happened to get lucky.

Dumbest thing I've ever done in this game....

Normally, after killing a mark, I double click it to loot all.

For some incomprehensible reason which I just can't explain - I opened the

corpse and examined the loot before looting it. And what, you ask, did I see...

a +13 force accuracy CA (with other mods of course). Wow! I thought gazing

at it for a second, before the corpse decayed and the best loot I have ever seen

in game vanished before my stupid little eyes. /sigh

I find that the level of the mark 76-82- matters not one bit to the quality of loot.
So when I'm doing NPC BH missions, I focus on the lower level ones as I can
go through them much quicker and increase my chances of finding nice stuff.

Last nite I found a General Melee Speed +9/Melee Def +6/2 handed Melee speed +7
on a lvl 76 mark. That's gonna make some polearmsman very happy.

I did 45 missions yesterday. I played for about 9-10 hours or so along withfighting a few jedi and talking with friends as well but for the MOST part: NPC mark hunting. I killed quite a few marks that were in towns as I starported in. Was nice and quick and refreshing.

I fought about 40 elites and 5 boss marks or so...can't remember the exact count. I fought on every planet from little eyed joe to damned if I know and one of my boss mark fights was perfect as I led him into a couple of rancors on Dathomir that were giving him a new meaning to the two words: PURE PWNAGE.

Anyway while I had fun fighting all night, I did NOT have fun looting. 45 missions fighting elite and boss marks and looted not one SINGLE CA or AA. All I got was smuggler loot and some adv armor cores...oh and a warm hat! Woot!

I have to ask you...was this yet ANOTHER bad night or is something seriously wrong with elites/boss mark loot?????

If you are getting a particularly bad run, take a break and do the random force guys on Dantooine. Got myself a +8 LS Experimentation tape the other night, along with a +11 2 hand LS speed as well.

LS tapes are like winning the lottery these days on my server,
