if they listen to the original poster i swear i will master it in a day masterpikes easy less then a day master brawler atm i can master it cause im 4444 in brawler so i can do the fs grind and have the needed cm xp for the 20k fp i cna just spend mabye 10 mil to get colonel and all that then for the quests and whatever i can just do what i have to do didnt read the whole thing cause i reliazed it was stupid pretty soon

Hmm, so, if I understand this right:
Give Imperials some uber-easy to obtain, uber class in general.

Screw Rebels.
Screw Jedi.
Screw Bounty Hunter's.
Right? I can get Master Brawler/Master Pikeman in a day. This would, in turn, turn every Rebel into Imperial's with Rebel beliefs and Imperial-hate sigs/guilds/cities, every Bounty Hunter would jump to Imperial, and there goes the end of the GCW andBounty Hunter roleplay.
I might agree with the NPC's, but not the profession, that's just ridiculous.
Also, the over-adbundance of Jedi is not because of the players that play them (Well, not SO much at least. But if they want to be Jedi, let them.), it's the crazily-easy system to get to the profession. Sure the grind takes a while, but not as long as it should.
This could all be fixed by making Jedi harder to obtain, No?

did you not read the original post, hard hard missions to do, and a hard hard hard grind to do, maybe an actually challenge than a little force grind or something or other. sure, pikes would be easy to master, but that would be JUST the begining, as opposed to jedi who can sit there and have there temp done with a week of hard grinding.

im just saying its to easy so what if its hard you can go mbrawler mpikes mdoctor and youll be fine and no jedi can finish in a week unless they have no life job dont go to school or take a week of from work or whatever
that proffesion no matter how hard it would be to grind it would not be like jedi even if you get 1 xp a kill cause i mean just to be able to unlock jedi it would take 18 weeks plus unless you want to get sucky skills and grinding after that you kill melichae and a whole bunch of other stuff like the paddy trials
so basically you could be one of the best pvpers in the game in a month or less wth this stupid imperial guard idea

Okay, I don't know where people get off by saying they canmaster this profession in a week. Lets say this, no matter if you grind, play every day orwhat, the profession mastering, plus the faction points and the missions take a month. And since the profession is a mix of faction experience and polearm expeirence I highly doubt that anyone would master it, even in a month. How many skill boxes are there? Lets say for the intermediate skils boxes it is 30,000 of Faction points each and 900,000 polearm experience. Then for advanced boxes it is 60,000 faction points and 1,800,000 polearm experience and so on and so on. I would highly doubt anyone mastering a profession like this anytime soon. Even with the missions being high faction points it would still take a lot of playing time and over all take way, way longer than any full template Jedi. And giving the Imperials an uber profession? Uh well seeing how the Empire isthe might of the galaxy, and seeing how they actually have Imperial Guard units.... yeah. And I am really starting to warm up to this exile idea....

its a very good idea though if you think about it. if i was the supreme ruler of the galaxy, and i had one guy who failed alot, iw ould just sit there and be like good boy, you can stay a strong fighter, i would want him dead, no matter what, and i would threaten any imperial with death if they choose to be involved with taht said player

guess what i do and im sure theres other people you just want to run around with your little fs pike with a master imp royal guard or whatever title owning all the jedi with your prof that you got in three days

As seening it would take a month just to get novice, I don't see where your 3 days theory comes into view. Now you are either being stuburn or lame. With that much faction points and experience I would bet my account it would take a lot longer than 3 days.

Ok, I may have been a bit over the top with my post. I didn't mean to insult anyone, or anything. I'm just thinking that this would be the absolute death to Rebels and Bounty Hunter's.
I think the professions are set up fine now, I just believe there needs to be some sort of end-game set into play, as shown in my other post about that topic.

i did say i didnt read the whole thing seeing as i said it looked stupid and second thing it takes more then 4 months to get jedi padawan and so maybe to master the imp guard it will take two months if its as hard as you say but i still think the idea blows

The only reasons why it "blows" for you is becasue you are a Rebel, if it was even implemented it would take 6 months tops to get master. And maybe it would bring more Imperial players than Rebel, becasue right now on my server there are more Rebels and according to GCW history the Rebels were drasticly outnumbered.And you know that the Jedi poplulation is ridiculous... this is a good cure for a diseae called Jedi.
