I did tryjedi and for me it didnt feel like the jedi i came to know from the movies so i drop what little force skills i had and remained a bounty hunter which is in my opinion much more fun. I know alot of jedi who grinded to their full templates get bored and quit. I didnt want that to happen to me.IM a Master BountyHunter, Master Pistoleer(best special moves in the game), 25 force sensitve points( Master combat prowness, 4400 reflexes, and 1000 senses), medic 0030.medic 0030 with 1000 senses gives me the equivalent of 0040 medic. I have plus 25 healing effiency shirt/bandoleer combo. i have 3 skill points left and i put 2 points into rifle box in marksman. The novice force defender wont help you as much as your defense is above 200 already and 25 more wont help much. duelist stance is all you need. The investment in healing will let you have much longer fights and can allow you wear your opponent down til he force runs/cloaks away or you kill em. Most of the time they run away and complain that its not right to be bested by a non jedi.Don't get discouraged by others telling you a force sensitve bh is a waste of points. i have killed many jedi with my skills and the sensitive skills do help a little. i made my second character a master smuggler. I like having to get my armor sliced on a whim.
That's very close to what I have, MBH/Pistols, 0/0/3/0 Medic, 24FS boxes, (along with rifles 1 and hunting 1). This is a very good template for hunting jedi, you just have to make the most of your specials and time them correctly, plus being a Jedi you can get a very good jump on your target by hunting them in your Paddy Robe, in some cases you'll even be able to get into a jedi grinding group which contains your mark for a very easy kill, hehe

Don't think there's enough SP for that. I can get the force powers, but I lose the medic. You did give me an idea, however.
I could drop medic and get 4/0/0/0 healer! That might work, but it's gonna get me on the terminals, right?
But, wouldn't that be a kick? Hunt a Jedi mark, only to have another hunter come after you and try to collect at the same time? Could make for some interesting play I think.
I've thought almost of going MBH/Master Rifleman/0400 Powers myself. Cloak and stalk them, and then cover and conceal shot when you're ready to make your attack. Force heal I've heard kinda hurts, as there's only one good heal on a 6 second timer, though I'm no Jedi so can't confirm this.

I agree!
Great ideas in here. Would love to hear from some more FS BHs.

If you are dead set on this jedi/MBH hybrid I think this is the best bet. For you hunting jedi will be a completely different ballgame thou. You would never ever want to actually have a all out fight. You would want to stalkk and wait for the perfect time to pop off a 2 to 3 shot attack; ie while jedi isin agro, while channleing, dueling, etc.
