I think thats good news, but... having spent countless(and I mean that literaly) hours looting my two full suits of BH armor, I'm gonna be majorly PO'd if pre-CU BH armor isnt given some kind of conversion option to these new BH armor schems(or what have you) like it was to thecurrent BH armorthat could only be used in the crafting of Mando. I want to have some BH armor with good stats w/out having to do that insane lootfest again or spend my money to buy other people's loots. I've done the work already, as have lots of other people, so the Devs need to make sure they give us a chance to convert our existing BH armor to the schems or whatever it is, that AS's will make to craft the new BH armor(which will have color options too!).

Won't happen. SOE will thenhave to go back and reimburse all the entertainers who paid Millions for that +25 mind enhancement tapes..etc etc

Armor to me depends entirely on the stats if i can get good energy armor i dont care if it looks like a wet suit that a dead fisherman wore.

Old BH armor is still the only stuff that can be used in the crafting of Mandalorian. I haven't heard of any of it dropping since the CU, so what you have is basically priceless to the right parties.
The new BH armor is more reasonably obtained, and actually intended to be worn in combat (let's be honest, the existing BH armor isn't something a BH would really wear in a fight).
It won't be any harder for you to obtain the new stuff than it is for any of us - and you still have a shot at turning your existing stuff into Mandalorian. And with your character that ought to be a goal for you anyhow! The plus side is, you'll also have a good set of BH armor to wear in combat.
I for one will be glad to have the ability to finally ditch composite and wear some armor that lets people know I am a Bounty Hunter.

Well it is wait and see on that isnt it. And If i went through all the thing i bought looted and Got that were never fixed Id go insane. I hunted the Bh armor aswell as a Ranger. But ya know what! Atleast we get it again. it could have been that we didnt at all. So Im happy just with us getting it again!!

/yawn If wookiee's can't werar it I don't care.
On a side note. It is possible that wookiees can wear it. The Clone "Katarn" armor is wearable by wooks. Just not by this wook cuz it's battle armor.

I remember when Wookiees were appealing for armor and Lucas said "Wookiees do wear armor! You'll see in Episode III, really!"
Well, I didn't see anything resembling the kind of armor that Wookiees wear in this game. Let's be honest - there wasn't much Wookiee armor there.
Regardless, they certainly weren't wearing armor designed for other species. Yes it looks cool, yes I can understand why everyone would want it... no, I don't think there's any way a Wookiee would wear such armor.
