It doesn't matter. The Jedi who have been grinding the trial will soon be off the terms one way or another and irrelevant to BH's. They'll just grind elsewhere for better XP without gaining visibility. This in a huge benefit to Jedi- They can now hunt anywhere in the game without having to be worried about BH.
True but still it's good since that makes Ryyat trail a real adventure, Not a grinding spot.
It will remain a grinding spot- For all the BH's who don't have the master box, no doubt many of them employing the despised AFK macros.
Then we'll have to keep our hopes up on a nerf. All they have to do is change the level on em from 77 to 70 or something.
Yeah, but that will bring in a whole different group of players at or below CL 70. I actually like the idea of a random high level mob spawning with deathblow, like a level 150 Wookie King (or Queen- an Enraged Feral Wookie Queen- Makes me smile), who would decimate any AFK'ers.

LOL, Boba Fett should spawn in every so often and wipe the camp clean, JK. I really like the idea of a high level mob spawning in with deathblow andit sounds like the only ones who like the afk'ers are themselves so there shouldn't be much opposition to it.

You know the more I think about it, this idea has merit. But I would like to expand it. Any concentration of force in a 30m radius for a set period of time on any planet would generate an NPC Bounty Hunter spawn, of 1 120+ level BH's & 2 80-85 level BH's. Now the level of force needed and time needed to generate a spawn would need to be throughly tested and talked about. and to added insentive to atk jedi's maybe give really good loot if from the lvl 120 guy....
I think the idea has merit and needs a post to be discussed.

Oh yes give the high end jedi more items to sell for 40million + thats a great idea.. This system as you say it there could easily be exploited to force the mob to spawn into a full group of jedi and used to farm cool loot. BAD IDEA. I'm tired of seeing +25 CAs going for 30m.. i've never even seen half that. Thats way to much money and to make it so only jedi can get it, grr, BAD IDEA is all I can say. Make it a punishment not a reward. You use too much force npcs go down, you kill them they disappear, no loot etc. Thank Obiwan you lived to fight another day.

I agree that Farming would have to be prevented, but I don't want to dismiss the idea just because one flaw is thier. If we discuss it, we can hope to find a way to make sure these things don't happen. But if a Jedi is grinding a spawn afk where he is not getting vis then their needs to be some way for them to be stopped. this idea has merit and may hold an answer to prevent afk grinding. Make the item a non-tradable crystal maybe, that is why I said discuss it.

Why doesit even have to have loot? For incentive to fight?! maybe.. avoiding death would be good enough.. this system looks like a punishment for using too much force in one area.. so why reward if its a punishment?! Yes i can see how this is great versus afk grinding, i love that idea.. tho i like the idea on if you kill the same spawn over and over something bigger and more pissed off shows up and teaches you a lesson. I dont feel we need to reward jedi anymore then what they can already do. The richest folk i know are jedi, and they dont contribute to any of the armor/weaponsmiths out there cuz they dont need em... its just unneeded. They can already farm the dark jedi for all the loot they want. This is a punishment for using too much force so the reward is you didn't die.

These changes are rediculous... If this goes live I will make it my goal to find every single exploit against a jedi and use it...
As far as I am concerned the gloves are off...
My enemy is now not just the jedi but the devs as well...
Shouldnt be to long till many exploits are found

I understand what you are saying and my even agree. but I doubt the masses would accept any 100+lvl mob not dropping something, otherwise we would just hear a bunch of whining, I would rather try to find something that keeps the whining posts on both forums down as much as possible.

I dont even think a 100+ mob is going to challenge a group of jedi. It would really have to be more. And again if you make it nodrop or whatever you are still making them more powerful by dropping some kinda uber item for them, which only they can get because normal professions dont have the ability to summon up a lvl 100+ mob whenever they feel like rolling the dice to see if something cool with drop. If you take loot out of the equation then i'm all for it. They can group with 2 other jedi and take on grievous sell that loot, i've seen the jedi vendors out there. They dont have a problem getting the high end stuff and they dont have a problem selling it for outrageous amounts of creds. Unlike them i would need a full group to even think about getting a chance to roll on such items. Jedi's have enough loot period. and if they dont they can surely afford to buy more. Again take loot out of the equation and you have a good start to something nice. You put loot in it you are just giving them ensentive for publically using force powers etc.

I suggested this not specifically against Jedi but rather against potential farming/AFK grinding situations regardless of the players profession where this activity should not be occurring. The high end mob boss should not drop loot or resources of any kind or if it does the loot should be generic and nothing worth farming for its own sake. It is meant to be a punishment, not a reward, for beating up on particular NPC's or mobs too aggressively in an area that shouldn't be farmed. The only decent reward from a high level spawn should be surviving it and if it involves killing the thing then bragging rights. That's it.
The spawn should be random and rare but frequent enough to be a deterrant to AFK grinding or farming. I don't think that this should be applied universally to all areas or as a means to target particular kinds of players but rather to specific situations, such as the Wookie village on the Ryyatt trail, to keep players on their toes and engaged in the game. The reason for this is that certain areas such as the Ryyat should be kept pristine not in order to punish players who want to advance but to preserve immersion and the integrity of the setting. So some areas should have a priority for this.

Nice idea, but imo it should despawn after a short period of timeafter it has done it's jobso some unsuspecting player doesn't get a quick trip to the cloner for trying to do something in a highly farmed area. As far as loot goes, there should definately be no loot. This is punishment for farming, at most it should give a badge and a few credits.
