oh ic, but id rather have some good med skills instead of just 1 good attack that most likely i will only b able to use once in a 1v1 situation, that u have to b 20m away and has a long cool-down timer. id rather b mbh, msl, cm 4xxx, that just my opinion though others just like the kamikaze template lol.

I've been curious about this combo as well.
Face it. You need CM 4xxx to keep yourself around in the fight. Especially if the going gets tuff. So then using MSL/MBH as yur foundation...how can you hit anything or have any speed? I imagine the control-c stats are pretty low right? Unless SL got more combat mods in the revamp?
Currently I'm MBH/MCM (not because I really like it...it's almost required) and rifles xxx4 (cuz speed kills). I don't like MCM much so would taking on MSL be any better?

Here are the stats:
MBH / MSL MBH / MCM
General Ranged Accuracy: 135 85
General Ranged Speed: 70 40
Ranged Defense: 205 170
Melee Defense: 185 145
Healing:0 80
I did not use all of the skill points, just looked at the stats for these two only. You cna easily pick up medic and a few boxes to get healing up a tad bit, if you're force sensitive for 1 skill point you can get +5 healing as well... If just healing is important to you, Doctor is a better profession to grab for pure healing if you're jsut dabblign for that. Or a spash of pistols, carbs or rifle to get another 20-30 defense and speed for a specific weapon and 40-50 accuracy... But you'll onyl be able to heal with stims...

Oh and with SL you're limited to assault armor, while with CM or doctor you can get battle armor or assault armor!

And noone seems to mention ....Form Up owns. Leg shot and Formup makes it impossible for a Jedi to catch up to you.

In my experience, Advanced Critical Shot with Blaze of Glory will crit for over 2k dmg.
Just for some reference I pulled a MDef Jedi mark tonight (knew this because when I rode past him on reconnaisance he had AI on), but didn't fight him because I was so badly lagged on the server (he was too). In the end I dropped the mission but he allowed me to do my usual opening shot on him just to test damage... Aim, Pyro, Paint Target, Called Shot, Improved Sniper Shot. With Volley Fire (bypass an amount of enemy armor) I hit him for over 2.6k damage.
Not a one-shot incap, but that 2.6k would be a consistent amount of damage. The same shot critting on a 444x Defender hits for about 3.7k.
MSL/MBH is a bit of a glass cannon template, especially if you pick up Rifles (or whatever) instead of Medic skills. To be honest though, I've never needed more than one or two shots, typically one - to do the job. I don't run right up to a Jedi like a MBH/MCM would, regardless of their buffs, I bide my time - wait until they are caught off guard, wait until they are standing around with just their aura/infusion macros running. No true sniper would have it any other way.

Im testing Master bounty hunter / Master squad leader / carbineer x4xx / novice medic
grouped with 110 combat droid i can heal for 1200 with bacta shot and use stims if i needed to.
1 day of testing this template ihave found that healing is something i can most likely live without hunting jedi
withmy 2k/40k condition composite armorand my ADK'edNyms's slug thrower dmg puped i go in with droid buffed with high yield and group buff volley fire open attack with paint target + called shot + critical and im averageing 1800 un resisted PvP dmg on first strike andleg shots after not using called shot hitting for 800 with default attack hitting for 400.
Jedi are usually dead in about 15sec db timer included.
now a good jedi will stasis, cloak, or heal + force run after the first hit doing 1800 dmg. but for the most part that template does not give a jedi much time to think and there dead.
Do i see a nerf coming? Yes. That is why i am testing this template. It is unbalanced in my opinion even though a good jedi can defeatme easy using stasis and/or cloak to there advantage and the fact im far far from being a good PvPer.

MSL ain't all that. Too many Jedi whine over stuff they have no clue about. Thing is...sniper shot doesn't always hit...especially against an MDef. Aim, Pyro, Steady Aim....= 4 sniper shot misses in a row (anyone notice Sniper shot missing ALOT more often? ) and that certainly won't ever 1 shot incap a good Defender type. 1 click and they're back to full health.
Best part about the template is the added damage from Paint Target and the ability to kite with Form Up cause if your opponents good...you're going to be doing some kiting. I've done enough Jedi missions as MBH MSL Rifles 4000 to know what I'm talking about. Its still a VERY good template. Only lost vs one Jedi and that was because I was getting KD, KD, KD, KD....something obvious there...but use to it. Don't find too many of these types to whine about it.
I highly doubt it will get nerfed. The people who are easy targets for this template have always been easy targets with another.
