We debated this to death. The end result of that debate was that SOE can't change it so ANY kill while the BH TEF is applied is counted as a BH death. There are many ways a Jedi could die from the enviornment that are valid:
1. Falling into lava on accident
2. Inadvertantly running into a krayt nest
3. Another BH
4. PvP Special Forces
There are a number of ways that a BH "team" could cheat if any death while BH TEF'd is considered a BH death:
1. BH's friend aggro's a krayt nest onto the Jedi - this is the biggest one
It simply cannot happen
failure? There is only one planet that does this type of damage thus far, so it shouldn’t affect other aspects of the game. That way, any time a Jedi sees a blue dot coming fast at them on the radar they will hop in the lava before any attack can be initiated. 
nope i just want everyone to note its a non-issue for both sides. ppl have done things like this for awhile and this is the same.

I agree that the bh should get the payout if the jedi dies while the tef is affective. Why because 1 it will stop suicide. I mean think about in star wars. if the bhs mark kills himself the bh can just take the corpse and tell his boss I killed him. This will also prevent the exploit where there friend dbs him
technically you cant pull the corpse of your bounty out of lava and bring it back to your boss im pretty sure it would be gone .

I hunted Jedi when a carbine was laughed at! don't come in here whining over a few kamakaze Jedi because you don't use your brain!
I swear I miss the old days of 85% saber block....THAT was hard! This....this is nothing.
Well being fair to the Jedi would the LavaCide be considered a complete when alot of BH still use the grinding at lairs a additional Speed tool for killing the jedi while they are busy and using Force and taking damage even before we show up? Or if an NPC or another Player incaps the Jeid would that constitute a Incomplete mission even if we get the DB.
I would think if they Lava was taken out of the equasion the NPC's would have to unagro the Jedi once the TEF starts, then that would make besides the SL buffs not working on the Jedi during the BH TEF to be Aimed at the BH and we would lose our ability to get the SL Buffs while we attack.
So I would ask is the Lava really worth the possible added issues of Unagroing?

Are jedi on mustafar purposely running into the lava killing themselves before the BH initiates a TEF by shooting them, consequently, the BH mission is dropped from the datapad and the BH gets a mission incomplete?
