usually i call them noob and tell them they Sploitz. Nah pretty much what everyone else said Steak and Dulist. Then hope they dont run for it.

Synthsteak. It cuts the extra damage that I'm taking by not kiting.
If he roots me enough times that my stomach fills up, I'm not going to win that one anyway.

kd them if you can, or throw on a mezz, or root them or if none of that works throw on duelist stance, eat a protien waffer and get ready to heal and alternate with stims, while getting in as much offense as you possibly can. most importantly dont SPAM or else you're just asking for the kd bug, just keep yourself calm and focused.

yeah KD, startle shot, duelist stance, kneecapshot, adv crit maybe throw a bacta toss for health since im rooted anyways

As a Rifleman, I get outside the 35m range. Considering you are a pistoleer that is not an option. KD is good and so is Disarming shot. I would suggest that you first wait for the Jedi to get up before using the Disarming. Hit the KD first so you can start the timer.
You could also apply your own root, assuming you keep them outside 10m of you so they are having to use Saber Toss to hit you (which is slower then regular Melee hits).
Does Duelist Stance help verse Melee Attacks? Confusion Shot would also be good too as it will decrease thier damage as well.

I don't worry about root at all. Why you ask? Simple, because I dont run around at all. I find running around tootdistracting,so I just plant myself in one spot. With the right foods,8k energy sliced Ubese armour, and my duelst macro running, I can stand toe-to-toe with the best of them. One of my fights lasted so long I actually had a spice downer.

Root (verb and noun) : synonym for f*ck in nearly all its senses: "I feel rooted"; "this washing machine is rooted"; "(s)he's a good root". A very useful word in fairly polite company.
