If it makes you feel better Ive done the investigation grind 4 times in the last 2 years and it really is allot easier (less buggy) now than it ever was. Dont think of it as a grind think of it as practice since it really is about th eonly "grinding" that directly applies to your profession, as in even at master youll probably pull NPC missions and it sounds like you plan on pulling Jedi missions. Use the time to get your macros set up find out wich specials are best. Save the money for the better equipment....
