I have that exact template cm 4000 mBH mPistoleer and i have a few jedi under my belt . i am now on a it of a run as far as they are concerned i am approaching the .500 mark on them i believe im 5- 6 - 2 with this template. i was 0 - 5 - 1 when i started.

my equipment: (not the best but not bad)

imp recon armor - 7800 energy Armor break sliced 75%

Featherweight Fwg5 - SAC 65 , Mod spd 1.3 , dmg - 340 - 935 (roughly i dont remember exacts)

with a speed pup the speed goes to .89 and my mod dps is like 777.79

foods: anything with action mind regen .. health regen is nice too but i find accuracy foods to be savior. and dodge foods.

Droids: i have a combat droid , and a bomb droid .... depending on situation .

tactics:

my biggest mistake was spamming specials like a mad man even with my gun my action hurt pretty quick. I found using ranged shot is a good way to go until you see an opening to let loose. It sucks when you have a chance to unload on him and you dont have the action to do it.stay 20m away if possible to avoid cloak and use root wisely. its great when they try to run away. also keep a rifle or carbine on toolbar.. this helps when they run away and get out of pistol range you can root from 65m with HLR. off the top of my head thats it like it was sadi earlier kite and keep moving .. also goood combo for me is KD, ADV CRIT, ADV quickdraw, ADV quickdraw ADV CRIT.

umm....u read the forums??? every1 is statin 101010101010101 jedis killed post-cu lol(and that includes full temps)

learn to play the game a little better and read how to use your temp a little better before you go crying to get a proff nerfed

I have the exact same template and have perfect weapons. 75% ab sliced armor blah blah. I have everything I need. I've killed 104 Jedi about 70 of which were done with this template.

I do think that ab slices are broken, either changed or not functioning correctly so the pistol weilding bh is at a disadvantage right now. But I'm still not changing my template.

you need to 1. learn how to play ur template

and 2. stop calling for nerfs or make bh's better. cus currently MCM is a tad overpowered and is good for killing jedi if u kno what ur doin

yeah no distrecpect my friend, but at first the seem hard, when u figure it our ull look back and say what was i talking about, 50% of jedi i fight havent got a hope in the force of beating me other 40% maybe if i mess up 10% have a good chance, the whole point of your temp is that u should be able to out heal jedi damge fairly easily.

Agree with the others in here brother.....tis not a cosole game you have there. You wanna hunt like a BH then be one. I'm not a full MBH, so I don't believe that I know it all, but what I do know is it sounds like you wanna tank and are upset that you can't.

MBH/MPistols and CM 4xxx and Recently switched to xxx4 the snare and attack slow down helps a ton. I just switched to xxx4 in CM because i hate taht as MBH/Mpistols CM 4xxx full temp jedi with Force Run just run away from me after they run out of force. I beat most Jedi i face full temp or not i let them regan force before i attack unless i dislike the person. I really only lose to the Jedi with all Flawless sabers .Its a joke killingJedi with regular sabersreally just takes time. Make sure to get your armor sliced like everyone said

Man, I beat a full temp Jedi in a friendly duel on Tatooine when I was MBH/MP/CM2xxx because I hadn't grinded all of my CM skills up yet. Full temp. He took about ten minutes, telling me to wait, so that he could get all prepared. He was loaded with food and spice and completely buffed with the Force and had full Force. He was telling me how he was going to own me, and everything, and I kicked his ass. It was hilarious. I had these lousy kills, and I would just disarm shot him, which always hit, because my accuracy is off the hook. I would just disarm, untarget, heal up for a few seconds, maybe hit a stim, and then target+KD him, Advnaced critical, Adv Quickshot, Advanced Critical, and try to get a Bodyshot in. He went down in about 5 minutes, and he still had Force. I takes practice. Just try to get him in a position where he is about to heal himself all the way back up, and you disarm shot him right before his aura macro kicks back in, KD him and apply a huge stream of damage. Make sure your speed and accuracy is great. Then just practice, practice, practice...

I'm MBH/MCarb/2xxxCM (working on 4xxx, but I don't grind full time just to get a template)

I have crappy armour, I kid you not. Padded with about 5000 energy resist, a pre-cuRIS helmet with 6000, and some energy layered marauder arm armour on the left arm(I like the patchwork "scum for hire" image) I'm saving for my dream armour atm. Nearly there!

None of it is sliced in any way.

My weapons are good stuff: Proton Carbine speed sliced with a SAC pup, Proton Carbine damage sliced with a speed pup, and adamage sliced Nyms with a speed pup.

I admit it: I use sneaky, low, and downright dishonourable tactics when hunting. I know I'm not supposed to butt heads with a jedi: they've got thicker skulls than me. I wait until they're on the crapper, etc. I get them while they are hunting, or better yet, spinning. I stand forages at the starportfollowing the mark's movements with my droids. Patience and cunning are the best tricks you'll learn, imho.

But even in a stand up fight, I do well as long as I remember my foods, keep an eye on his and my states, and keep the bugger snared, blind, dizzy, stunned and bleeding. I use the Nov CM poison as well (I'm no poo-flinger, but seeing as I have the skill, I'm going to use it). If he's proving evasive, I chug a pyro (ranged accuracy food) and switch to the Nyms. Thehigh-speed, kinetic/acid dpsoutput burns my action bar badly, but his health gets similarly knackered. I time my heals and stim use, wearing the mark down until he either dies or runs. Sometimes he doesboth.

I was in the same boat as you (the OP) until I studied hard the distilled wisdom of my fellow hunters here on this board. All of my current run of success (8 full hunts, 8 kills over the last 3 days, average of 4 hours play a day*) I owe to these guys.

Don't give up. Keep learning, experiment. Take the mark seriously: even if they're unbuffed and running around Theed in pinkspandex trunks. Go into each fight as if it was the last one. When you get beaten, and you will, shrug, lick your wounds, and go pick up another mission. Hunt NPC marks for a "vacation", and treat them as if they were jedi.

Good luck in the future, and don't be discouraged. Plenty of Jedi Trolls and their fanboys here will try to discourage you: less MBH = good for jedi. Don't let them win. Make Boba proud.

*(A full hunt is one where I actually engage the mark in combat. Anything else up to that point is a stalk)

it's funny....you read these threads and it's always the same thing. you can troll the forums and find bh's complaining about jedi and jedi complaining about bh's...then find these long elaborite solutions to each respective problem. haha ...but i'll tell you the real problem!!! i just ordered the trials expansion on oct. 27...and not only do i not get the 8 man skiff....but i don't even get to go to the planet till the first

MBH / MPist / CM 4000..... where is the snare?

To the original poster.....

Try MBH / MPist / Carb 0400 / Medic 0010 (and healing effic shirts, med droid) Gives you a Snare and lots of damage output plus you keep your defensive specials from Pistols. The heals aren't uber... but you won't need uber heals as you will be kiting most of the time.

Im not a Mpist, im a Mrifle, but doesnt pistol have snare with it or was it root? I can never keep these straight.
