Look, no sane minded person will disavow that other professions need immediate attention, no one who has ever played any sort of profession other than bounty hunter and jedi will.
The problem here is that it seems as if no one at SOE actually does what they are paid for.
Let me put this straight before I start to rant: I like Kash, I really do, it's a nice idea, that's not it, I like dual-wielding, that's not it.. it's something else.
--Start Rant--
I (and I know a lot of veteran players who share this feeling) give a sh*t about Kash.
I give a sh*t about the oh so wonderful dual-wielding ability of the now forlorn entertainer profession.
I give a sh*t about ANY fscking new content until the content which is there is FIXED AND BALANCED.
I can't be happy about fixes like the "/offerride" thing, why should I? It is hilarious that this even made it live, let alone (to cover other professions) the experimentation bugs.
--Stop Rant--
To bring up something productive let me just put it how I'd see a good road map/suggestions for fixes and additional content (addressed to SOE, maybe I should really try to grab one of those dudes at the Games Convention here in Germany and talk to them):
1. Stop telling us it is "too complex to implement" or "a complex issue to fix"*
1. Eradicate LOS Bugs and similar bugs until we have a relatively bug-free environment in all the major places around the galaxies
2. Create a list of all known bugs which are currently around and fix them based on their impact on the profession where their ranking should be defined not by the amount of players being part of the profession, but by the severity of the bug (i.e. A bug for profession x which revokes 25% (one branch) of their skills has to be fixed before we get new "premium pearls" for the jedi or a rebalancing.
3. Fix those bugs and dedicate new coders to it
4. Try to ask the community for input on further expansions or content and especially, try to listen and carefully judge the combat balances.
5. Actually _LISTEN_ to what they say and stop being biased in any way.
6. Have a nice day and be happy to have a game customers might want to play this time next year.
* Hire coders who know what their job is and whose level of understanding is high enough to allow the development of a scalable, modular, system. It's fantastic what's offered here; No regular company would survive if their product would need a restart after next-to-every little hotfix (I am working with mainframes and large-scale applications eating up 10+ GB of Ram and most of them are designed to only deactivate and reload models, it's just crappy programming in the first place but ranting about it won't help).
Nevertheless, the SOE programmers are paid to fix it. Who cares if it is complex? Dedicate some more coders to it, have well developed functional specification, whatever.

The LOS exploit on the Trail is hardly limted to Jedi, I have seen grinders from all professions use it. As well as Bounty Hunters when a Jedi is a little too much to handle. Yes Jedi exploit it, but so do others.
Like the poster said visit other forums, crafting is quite bugged right now, smuggler is botched, entertainers have no real purpose. Yet Jedi and Bounty Hunters get the most attention and still the whinin doesnt stop.

All I gotta say is BH's are better off than most other professions.
- The majority of Smuggler shots don't even work AND they've yet to see any form of "smuggling" content.
- Creature Handlers, borked beyond belief.
- Entertainers, all but useless at this point in time.
- Crafters, still having issues and BE clothing is STILL screwed.
- Rangers, STILL haven't been revamped. A completely useless profession.
- Two words:
SQUAD LEADERS
'Nuff said.
