You can get a nice kashyyyk stalker pistol that is kinetic and elemental. That will go right through a psg and they're pretty dang good damage and speed. Slice em and put on a powerup and they'll probably give anyone a good run for their money.

I moved from the mrifle to mpist and like it just fine.I like the speed and low sac you get with pistol.I have a rifle and carb that are ok also using root with a rifle,plus you get better defence stats and gen. range acc. stats.

it's not just a matter of weapon damage, but a matter of specials, with master pistol the only damage special you gain is advanced bodyshot, rifle gives you both Headshot and startleshot for damage, plus startleshot is the best 'setup' move in the game, basically all you have to do is get your opponents health to the point that the combined damage of startleshot and advanced critical will kill them, because they're unable to heal in between. The combonation of the range issue, the weapon damage issue, and the special damage, all work together to make sure you're not doing anywhere near enough damage to bring down a master defender or enhancer with improved force armor.

I do very well against jedi. I win alot more than I lose and I can beat full templates.

Pistols is good but only for the absolute best of the best. You really cannot stay out of a jedi's saber throwing range with pistols so you have to take the hits. But you can be quick with pistols and intimidate shot is a life saver. I'm a MBH MPistoleer 4000CM and I like to hit them with adv. quickdraw, adv critical, improved bodyshot, torsoshot (repeat). You can almost fire continuously if you have a quick enough gun and your SAC is low enough. I use a featherweight FWG with 66 starting SAC and then pup it down to 46 SAC. So couple that with mandalorian wine, won won, and booster blue my action pool lasts a very long time. This puts the jedi on the defensive. If you get them in the loop of having to heal, you can wear down their mind and eventually do them in. Pistols is not the damage dealers that rifles is so the fights can last a very long time. But watch the timers on their force aura and force armor and when those drop BAM hit them with everything you have. I've literally had jedi say to me "lol you cant hurt me" and then their powers drop and I drop them with a well timed volley.


You have to be able to take their hits and out last and out fight them.
