Thread: AFK Trail-mix Crackdown
You know it's going to suck when jedi no longer get visibility in a group. Once that hits it'll be full throttle to jedi knight for anyone who can write a macro and burst run past some silly spiders.
Worst thing is if you were being chased by spiders and some afk jedi happened to hit them _YOU_ could be charged with breaking rules. Go figure.

Even if jedi end up not getting visibility from their group members, they will still gain vis from the wookiees they are slaughtering. The ryatt trail would be a stupid place to grind if the group vis was removed, it would be much safer to go kill non-sentients out in the wilderness.
Nope. If you get stuck you can use /unstick to get back to the gate though.

Now, I dont know about all you other BH's, but I would rather have a Paddy run to his safe house that he planted on wherever he is grinding legit, rather thatn kill a AFK Jedi for a 200k pay off. Im not very fond of the whole fish in a barrel thing.
And its not like the Jedi cant see you coming. They can see you before you cross the bridge. Youre that guy running his butt off with the crazy Wookie, and a couple of huge spiders attacking him as he tries to make it across the bridge. Plenty of time to make to the LoS bugged bridge. There is no "Hunting". No waiting for the right time to strike. Im not a big RPer, but for the RPer's, Kashyyk has really butchered any of that.
I myself have grown tired of going to Kashyyk. The vast majority of the Jedi are there, and either exploiting the LoS bugged bridge, or AFK. Neither appeals to me. So for now I have retired my Bounty Hunter for now. Hopefully it all gets worked out.
Then don't hunt on Kashyyk... aparently the Devs don't intend BHers to hunt there, since the droids dont work, the game mechanics are such that you are not supposed to be in the same instance as another to prevent camping, crowding, and harrassment.
So dare I say, by hunting on Kashyyk you are exploiting as much as the AFK grinders? Yes, I do 
Now the LOS bug, I've seen BHers exploit it when their mark actually wasn't afk and was fighting back. Don't cry about Jedi abusing it when everyone does.

Yes, BHs are intended to hunt Jedi on Kashyyyk. No, it's not supposed to work in the same fassion as other planets. Bountyhunters need a touch more skill to do thier job on Kashyyyk.

Not all players need to cheat. While there alot of children playing this game I find it hard pressed that an adult would do so. Having this view also places you in the boat of "I'm doing it too". Exploiting this LoS issue will only fracture your ability to suceed in this game.
What is going to happen when there's no more LoS buggs and the cheaters have no where to hide?

huh? droids not working is because of instances and BHers hunting there is fine.
If you are an afk jedi fine...that is not exploiting because it is all ingame macros...same as the /tumble docs in the day. but if a BH gets you when you are afk fine too...and if you are there don't run to the LOS bugged bridge as that IS exploiting.

That came out wrong. I don't mean "everyone" as in every individual, I meant everyone as in every profession. There are some honorable people who will not abuse a bug, and there are some who see it as game mechanics. The point is, its there, and Jedi are not the only ones to use it, especially in a BH vs Jedi conflict.
