Considering you have to spend 29 skill points for Marksman 0004 in order to become Novice BH, those skill points will be missing in any melee template you build.
Furthermore melee classes do not get any crowd control specials, so you cannot stop a Jedi from running. Melee builds like TKM / Doc are great to defend against Jedi, but they cannot kill Jedi.
na, im tkm/doctor4/0/0/4 and some pikeman and i can kill jedi fine
Because Jedi actually keep standing around when they are about to lose since they only die. Your template doesnt have BH in it, if there would be the slightest possibility of xp loss from you killing them they would not stay to be killed. And you dont have any options to stop a Jedi from running.

Abilities needed to kill a Jedi:
1) surviving
2) damage dealing
3) crowd control to keep Jedi from running
The TKM / Doc 4004 / some Pikeman template is uber in point 1), good in point 2) and is totally lacking in point 3). For GCW defense you need 1) and 2), for GCW offense 3) would be nice but you can do without 3) if you run the Jedi out of Force so he has to leave, for BHing you need 1), 2) and 3).
If the Jedi is able to escape before you can kill him, he pretty much wins since you dont get paid. When facing a BH, smart Jedi will run when they realize they cant win, so you need 3). If a Jedi stays to be killed it is his own stupidity. I wouldnt build a BH template relying on the stupidity of the Jedi I hunt to be able to get the job done. Hence my statement you cannot kill a Jedi with that template - but I will rephrase it:
- You cannot kill a Jedi with that template unless he decides to stay to be killed.
no, burstrun and knockdown is all you need
Only if the Jedi is stupid enough not to snare, root, KD or Stasis you before attempting to run. If a Jedi does that and is 10m away before you can start chasing him, you will never get to him.

Since Pub 20 only MBH have the ability to hunt Jedi. Assuming you'll want to master whatever melee prof you pick up, that's only 23 SP left to spare. You then have the choice of either picking up nov pike for an extra +15 gen melee accuracy, or grab Med x21x for heals.
Either way you'll be splitting your SP/mods between ranged and melee. Because ranged generic mods will stack with other ranged mods, but won't stack with melee mods (and vice versa) your offensive capabilities will significantly lower thanwhat they should be. You think out-damaging a MLS/MDEF/H 4xx4 is hard now, try it with less accuracy and speed.
Worst of all,a Jedi will have a longer range than you will. If he's got either Force Run 2 or Force supression, he's gonna kite you all day with saber throw.
