Um no... Finished temps have NOTHING to lose. Thus why go after one if you could loose 226k? Not to mention jedi is still better than nonjedi.

It sounds fun but the Jedi complain enough that Paddy's get hunted too much. What do you think will happen if this is implemented?

sounds cool to me lol...don't think it should be the entire mission worth as penalty...10-15% would be interesting to me lol

Exactly the same sentiment that causes Paddies to run in their house and sit all day.

I wont support this because its only the first step.
If Jedi get this done just by power of moaning and complaining it will only be a month until they decide its not enough of a drawback.

Finish templated jedi have nothing to loose.
Yes and No. If a jedi plans on keeping his/her template then they have nothing to lose. But if a jedi does plan on changing things up a bit, he/she is still sitting with negative xp should they get killed. I know plenty of jedi who have changed their templates around with different the publishes. And seeing that Pub 19 brought some of their strengths down, I wouldnt be surprised to hear of more "finished" jedi having negative xp to work off.

I support this. We need something to raise the cost vs. reward aspect. I agree with Tanks about paddy feeding so lets reverse the payout. Have the system take the difference of the BH payout and the full template level of 226k with an addition of 10-15%.
So, if you pull a Paddy mission worth 80k and fail you would pay 146k (226-80) plus 10% of the original bounty for a total of 154k.
Or maybe cut the difference between the payout and 226k in half......making this example a cost of 81k for failing.
So pulling a fully templated jedi would only cost you 22,600 credits if you lost.
just my 2 cents

As I stated in that thread, If the cost of penalty increases beyond what one can make by doing what we do, then what we do becomes infeasable, and we might as well all become armorsmiths. I can't even afford to replace my current 93% swoop with a crate of disposable swoops atm, how am I supposed to pay off the price gouging cybernetic doc if I have a run of bad luck against a paddy? I certainly wouldn't have an ounce of a chance against a knight. I'm ALL FOR the idea, but not if the penalty outways the reward. people who have jedi get to be something that shouldn't exist, and it costs them a couple hours worth of grinding. We're a class that existed en masse during the time period, and anyone can obtain in 2-3 weeks.

Why? I support it. Tanks supports it. A LOT of BH support it. It sounds like a cool idea.
He is saying that the BH should have to pay the mission payout to get their normal arms back. If tanks is supporting us loosing the entire misison payout by hunting a jedi if we loose then it is truely clear which side he is on.

Obviously you missed the part where Tanks said that having to payout the amount of the failed mission was too much.
