Thread: And after 47 Not Onlines!

The problem is simple: if you add Jedi to the terminals when they log on, but you do not remove them from terminals when they log off, you don't need a rocket scientist to tell you that eventually (12, 24, 36, 48 hours after the server has been reset)the number of missions for offline Jedi will totally swamp the small number of missions for online Jedi.
I posted the following as soon as I came back from vacation on July 11 under title "Clarification Needed for Jedi Missions on BH terms" on Corr. Boards:
Are the missions created when you refresh the BH terminals for online Jedi at the time?
OR
Are the missions created when a Jedi logsin for the first time to play?
If it is the former, we can deal with a Jedi going offline in the middle of the hunt.
If it is the latter then eventually majority of Jedi missions will be for offline Jedi as people login, play a while and logout. This would eventually make it the same as it is on live now, except without the names the only way to figure out would be after talking to an informant and trying to launch an Arakyd droid. One could spent a very long time trying to find an online Jedi.

NEW servers should be opened - classic style servers - with NO ability to EVER becaome Jedi for ANYONE.
Nice easy solution.
SOE makes more money.
Jedi are happy with Jedi Wars.
Other classes cant complain anymore since there would be servers w/ no Jedi to play on
see...i think the BIGGEST problem...
the number 1 problem...
the problem plauging the SOE devs more than any other problem...
is FREE CRACK FRIDAYS at SOE!
they need to cut down on the crack intake, and clear their heads and think about things before implementing them.

Another big problem is not getting names from the "seek bounty" option and it uses up a seeker.

Killing Jedi on kashykk is SOOOOO EASY please , please, please read the post I made about it. I gurantee you kill after kill after kill...
Yeah, but not everyone has the Rage of the Wookiees expansion. While it's nice that those who have the expansion can be safe to enjoy the content, those who don't have it are having their content (Bounty Hunter) trampled on to the point of being unfun.

Hehe, just curious, but what would be your proposed solution to this? Ban any Jedi from going to Kashyyk at all incase any BH's that are after them don't have the expansion?Even if tracking droids worked on Kashyyk that wouldn't fix this...
Like I said, not flaming, just curious.

Thats exactly how its always been. If you come on right after server reset, theres no jedi on the terms. You could sit and watch them log in, then see their names proceed to pop up on the terms. Nice work SOE, publish updates where you didnt even have to change any code.

It will be a Catch 22 Tanks.
If the mission only spawns if they are online (based on the refresh button) then I am sure SoE will have difficulty keeping the mission from dropping after you take it if the Jedi goes off line.
- If that ever happens, I think you know what the results would be.
What SoE needs to do is have the mission only spawn if the Jedi is on-line at the time you pull the mission. Then themission only drops if it is completed or the 3 days passes. Now, that is what should be done, we'll see what they do (if anything) to accomplish this.
I assumed that was what was meant to be happening.
