with the multiple accounts / Jedi alt toons people have these days. Faction = Allies mean zilch. that same imp who helped defend your bases today probably is running around with a Rebel alt whoprobably helpedtake down 4 of your bases last week.

Yep yep, whenthe Global Civil Warwas at its peak. Our original IMPPA actually recruited people with multi accounts. Their sole job was to create Rebel alts and get recruited into enemy pvp guilds. They would tip us off when they were about ready to plan a raid at our city bases/allies etc. On theother other hand am sure informant spies passed into our ranks as well. Ahh those were fun times,

I exclusively hunt same faction.

Why?

Because I'm "opposite faction."I don't want to hunt Rebel Jedi because my guild is 80% rebel. So, knowing I was going to be hunting imperials to avoid hunting guildmates, I went Imperial myself. The purple dot I give my marks on radar has given me the element of surprise on numerous occasions.

Everyone has their own definition of Bounty Hunter and there is no "code".

IRL there are Bounty Hunters who work within the law, there are Bounty Hunters(hitmen) working outside the law.

There is no "code" of how you are to be.

IMO as an Imperial factioned aligned player the Emperorcommands you to kill all jedi scum. You should be awarded Imperial faction when you kill any Jedi. Now if you are a Rebel BH killing a Rebel Jedi you should lose a ton of Rebel faction and if your faction points fall below 200 you are removed from the Rebel ranks.

What would the Rebel Alliance do if you declare yourself a Rebel and then try to kill Luke Skywalker or Han Solo. Do you think you will retain your stature as a Rebel?

You can be a rebel BH and hunt rebels.

I have a rebel BH as a secondary character I don't play much. Why reb? Well, the Empire is vast and powerful, and not likely to be beaten. But where there is war, there is opportunity, and where there is opportunity, there is profit.

So he doesn't support the rebellion because of any altruistic motives. So as long as he is smart about it, there is no issue.

And if the timeline ever moves forward to after the Rebellion wins, he'll switch to supporting the IMperial Remnants

Ehem, What BH Code? You mean the one which implies Kill, Get Paid or be Killed and not Get Paid? Is that the oneto which youare refering? : ) I like that code. Though I do have preference in what I hunt, I'm a Rebel BH and I hunt for Credits. I would be Imperial but I have put way to much into this toon to turn him around now; expecially with my Y-8 actually working.Im sure you can understand that much. But I hunt em all. Though I die more than I win, both sides seem to fight the same fight and pay the same Credit. Business is business and business is good.

Of course Jedi hide. But thats only after a BH engages them and they see they wont be able to win.. its a power called Cloak.
