the reason for the serious payout why? because jedi back then were actually a proper challange back then, being bh wasnt exactly the strongest proffesion, so you hardly saw a MBH, hardly any moaned about jedi's beating them, no complaints or moans on this forum, jedi and BH didnt go at each others throats so much, and each prof was happy with the skills they had....
I remember finally looting my last peice of BH armor, and roaming around in the second rarest armor in game was so sweet, i hardly saw anyone with BH armor, let alone anyone else with a full set.
that is what i thought it should be, if you where a skilled BH, you would be fairly rich due to the huge payouts, therefore getting even better weapons and armor, so its like a progession. If you wanted the BH look, you had to work your backside to get Bh armor, not only looking for black suns but beating them was fairly hard.
Now, look what has happend to this proffesion, nothing but respecc bh who run around in easy to get BH armor, going at the best jedi without fuss. Exploiters who ruin the experience for both parties and give the BH and even worse rep (saying this as most jedi wehn i beat them now complain about me exploiting).
Whenever i come on this forum, all i see is respecc BH's boasting about there kills, how many they killed, killing afk jedi, how they killed one in a house or a cloaked jedi etc etc etc.
The constant moaning about jedi using there skills to either win, run or hide, just makes me laugh.
The new respecc Bh whined about BH armor not being wearable anymore if you looted it, so they moaned so much the devs eventually made schems available, and those who actually worked hard to get a full set pre CU have nothing to show for it, but BH armor that can b used to craft mando and has poor stats.
Jedi were very hard to bat, you had to know your template perfectly to pull off a win againsta full templated jedi, and jedi actually wanted to fight you cos exploits were not around.
If you beat the jedi, it meant you where the better player, or you used your template better. Now, jedi are just walk overs and most BH find it nescesary to use an exploit to win, whether its a speed macro, bacta spraying yourself and your droid etc
The point of this thread? I just want to know other BH's oppinions on whether these changes are good or better. If you respecced to BH , you have waisted you time reading this as you input is useless.
my opinion is that you have no need to boast about how many, how or what jedi you killed, as it is too easy to kill jedi now and there is no comparison to pre cu jedi hunting.
I think BH armor should have stayed rare, now i dont like wearing, it as the time i spent to get this crappy stated, weak coloured BH armor is useless to, untill i need it for mando.
i think they should have kept master scout and master marksman a requirement to get novice BH, if you want to contest with jedi then you must work as hard to be as string as they are (even though BH out dmge, and can easily take down the best of jedi now)
Respeccing to BH shouldnt have been alowed,as its one proffesion that requires learning slowly, and simply getting to master by a click means u are clueless on your skills and how being MBH works
i was so shocked to find that the weapons i used to hutn jedi with (DE-10 & Genosian) were completely cack incomparison to other ranged weapons.
Yes, i did hunt alot of jedi pre cu, i beat many jedi and lost. But why do you need to boast? nobody cares how mnay jedi you killed post CU, because there is no friggin comparison when it comes to the difficulty between pre and post CU jedi hunting. Its far too easy to beat jedi nowadays, so those who come on thsi forum with clickies and boasts are just making themself look small.
i also want to know what our new BH coro thinks of this thread, as i am probably leaving the game soon and was always just curous who agrees and disagrees with me...

First off I'm not a respect BH, second I am pre CU.
Your harsh words towards respecs is unwarrented. I'm assuming you have all ur respec tokens then?
Never used them to change from rifles to CM? I highly doubt you've never respec'd. If you havn't, ur not too smart. I used mine to try melee, then went through the BH grind again to get it. Just because someone respecs doesnt mean they don't know what they're doing or that they don't learn the profession.

this post couldnt come at more of a worse time ... the BH forums have been quiet in regards to home grown whining .. and the only whining lately have been from jedi trolls which have instigated hot tempered posters like me to respond ... other than that BH in my opinion have been behaving themselves ...
as far as this "respec" just drop it ... it an old insult, its a ridiculous insult, and calling someone respec doesnt mean anything..and theres no need to split up the BH community by labeling or judging...we all used respec one way or another .. and hold onto our token respecs like gold..
if anything will promote this proffession into a constructive direction, splitting up the BH communitylabeling some asrespecs isnt going to be one of the things that do it...
i give your post a thumbs down ... for whining at a time when things are seemingly peaceful and to tell the truth with your low post count and late registratioin to the forums ... id say you were just an ALT .... trying to shake things up here on purpose ...
Agreed, but it does have some truth to the post. I was probably the 4th or 5th Bounty Hunter on Intrepid. I can remember running 9k meters to a mission only to find out that it was 30m off the map out of range. There were no mounts or vehicles. Payouts where 1/3 of what missions payed out.
Your's and still my profession is the greatest in the game.More so then jedi. If you want to whine and cry that Jedi'sare untouchable, then you are proving how horrible of a gamer you truely are. You have not truely tried to change your playing style. If you want to be the best then put the time into becoming the best. If you don't have the time, then stop whinning and join some other game that you can spend less time on.
I have played both sides of the fence and have had 3 different jedi temps. I have seen the best Bounty Hunters and I have seen the worst Bounty Hunters. The people that post on this forums whinning every single day are typically the worst Bounty Hunters I have ever seen.
You think that Jedi's are good because they turn CL 80? You have what I call "OccularSphynkteritis." Thats where you have your head up your ARS and have a Shatty outlook on life.
Jedi's that are good, work to become so. Not only by playing there skill over and over but dialing in their gear and testing foods and making themselves the best they can be with CA's and all.They kill thousands and thousands of different high lvl creatures to get Crystals and Pearls worth putting into a weapon that has a lower DPS and Max dmg then any other weapon for a 80 in the game.
for all of those who are saying im whining, what are you on about??
notice i havent whined about how hard jedi are, its actually the complete opposite. i Hunt jedi everyday, and incomparison to pre CU its not even a challange anymore. Sure, i get the odd vet jedi with his/her 700 dps saber, but i still make them run somtimes, which just isnt right.
i mean pre cu i had extreme difficulty taking out these jedi, cos it was actually 1:1.5
and maybe your right, maybe i am being bit harsh on those who generally didnt use respecc to get to BH post CU and worked for it. All i was trying to state by that comment was that ever since the sudden flurry of respecc BH since the CU. The game has turned into BH V jedi. When most of the MBH i knew pre CU didnt even hunt jedi at all.

Personally.......if he was watching you guys fight, then snuck in to "steal" ur bounty......I'd say that's smart. Not dumb, having no idea how to engage a mark.
We are the scum of the universe......solo hunters......I woulda done the same thing.
Personally, since it's not about the money for me (hunting Jedi......NPC missions are a different story as that is what funds me) I woulda stopped by to chat with ya and split the bnty.
