this really sounds good and fun that being said it wont ever happen because its SOE and they have problems doing good and fun they like to cater to the carebears to much
It only took them 2 years to come up with a fun ranger but thats not out yet i bet they screw it up before it actually comes out

We all know this game has nothing to do with the movies and SW cannon, hence, the amount of Jedi in game. That's cool, that's not what this post about.

SOE, you need to keep us vets interested, we need some long terms goals with significant rewards. And don't give me Jedi as the answer. I don't want to be Jedi. Nothing against those who are Jedi, but I want to stay a BH.
The WOW development team is very good with keeping it's high end players interested in the game by constantly pushing out content. They know they have enough content for the lower level players to get to the end game of 60, so they are very good with pushing out high end content for its vet players.
SOE needs to follow this example. My idea isa long term "village" type quest for other professions in the game, not just one.
I quit WoW because there is no endgame in it, and btw they are intending on focusing on mid end content in that game so if you still play it get out before you waste too much of your time in it. Jedi is the "high-end" class in this game, one that has been hit with the nerf hammer more than any other, making it barely a high end profession.
The idea of this game is not to make everyone as powerful as jedi, for non-jedi i would advise you get involved with the GCW and if there isn't a ton of pvp out there makes some, get your friends together and raid bases you'll find people interested in protecting them. Jedi do not rule PVP either especially with the current dearth of prem pearls and crystals, most are using cdef lightsabers, you can compete, get involved.
Be proactive dont go demeanding SOE fix all of your game content issues, i have played since launch/beta and have never had nothing to do.

right, some advice stand outside the MoEisley SP and watch the continuous flood of new players into the game. Oh and have fun watch the ridiculous sales numbers of the new expansion and the additional new players it will bring.Expect SWG to be around for quite some time.
