The house issue for me is an RP thing. Why should a door stop a BH? Would be nice if Droid detection devices could stop bomb droids as protection for the Jedi.

Being a Jedi for me is an RP thing. Why should armor stop my saber from slicing someone in two with the fist swing?

Personally I agree completely. I have stated IG many times that I think the saber should have *MASSIVE* damage, maybe one or two hit kills for game purposes (they should also be a helluva lot rarer).
But I also say MBH should get cortosis weave armour.
With all due respect, my first question would be "why not just decorate your house with your alternate character?"
Then you'd not have to worry about it at all.

Had to comment on the 'massive saber damage' thing...
That's fine, as long as they become tradeable items and swordsman and fencers gain the ability to push a little red button and use them also.
Like it or not, there are 35 other professions in the game. Balancing all the professions is mandatory given the sheer number of Jedi. Remember - not everyone who plays wants to be a Jedi and those players wouldn't much appreciate your choices invalidating their game play preferences.
