As I am aware of only the Commando flamer DoT will not be changed, because atm it's worthless save grilling droids n' krayts, lol.......and of course the occasional NS. Combat Medic is definitely being looked at, simply because of the onset of so many "uber" poison enhancers that made it completely unbalanced- that coupled with the incredibly large throw radius, monstrous stacking.....etc, etc, lol. Just a thought...

I hear only fencers get DoT weapons, but I think other profs can still do bleeds, and I assume CM's still get their poisons...

Any current weapons with DOT's on live (with xxxx uses remaining) arehaving their DOT removed (the weapon itself isn't being removed) in the combat upgrade so don't buy any unless you plan on using them up before the patch goes live.

They've said the DoTs may be converted into a little bit of extra damage to make up for the fact that they are being removed from the weapons. But they most definitely are being removed from the weapon. It sounds like they'll be making the damage on DoT weapons higher, but it will definitely not be a point for point conversion. For example, a weapon with a 400 strength DoT will not get 400 points of damage added to it.




Some of my pet peeve bugs:
•Armorsmith protection layers were not converted with the CU.
•Ship Details window does not close when you click "Travel" resulting in the message "You have lost the target. Closing interface."

I was wondering if someone could post some DOT numbers with and without enhancers and such like it was done with the heals for MCM.

around 250 to 290 damage for me unenhanced. Although if you are pvping, and the player uses a fire or poison absorption/resistance food it will be alot less.
