Hi all, I've been playing the game for almost the 2 full years minus a 8 month break but have been back for about 3 months now. I am currently going to unlock my jedi phase 4 and have been pouring over templates trying to decide.

A lil about my playstyle---- I am almost always solo or with 1 other friend, sometimes 2 but am hoping to change that when I unlock doing more grouping. By this, I thought going the MLS/MDEF would be best as it suits this playstyle the best.

From an RP standpoint I would really like to go M Powers and w/e else I could to support a mainly PvE playstyle. From the research I've done it seems possible to get a decent tune out of good pearls but it seems very, very rare at best. For this reason, and the fact that I don't have millions and millions of credits to spend to get a good lightsaber my questions are....

1. Is a master powers template dps that much lower than a MLS template using Post CU pearls or is it comparable?

2. Including master powers, and knowing a little about my playstyle and goals, what else should my templateinclude(Iwouldn't mind having some sabers as I really like the look of them)?

3. Using all 'good' quality pearls, Post CU, assuming I don't have MLS, what is the best dmg output compared to master powers?

Thanks to all who respond, I really appreciate any input I can get. I guess I'm just looking for some confirmation that master powers will be alright for my playstyle and RPing while at the same time getting some good advice on the rest of my template so that I'm not BH fodder. I'm not a pure pvper but would enjoy being able to hold my own and have some fun.
