Tonie... You're my hero.

I've always loved the CH profession, but BH as well, and I was always worried that the two would never work well together, and that choosing MCH to get aweak pet (especially with all the bugs these days) rather than mastering another combat profession would gimp me in PvP... But you've proven it can be done. (And it's all the more shaming to the jedi.)

Hats off to a job well done.

Luxora , if BH meant me dropping CH I would not. I have been CH since launch with Mawl, I am attached to my virtual in game pet freinds. I really, really think that if you have the following:

KD,Torso, Adv. Crit,Stopping Shot

You need little else if you follow tight engagement parameters. So BH with just about any other profession will work (defenses don't come into play, the jedi run or die ).What happnes , if you read #2 above, is that you are taking the jedi out of their element. If they are not buffed, if their force is down etc, they will probably think defensively. Then try to get away allowing you to use your root, and then another round of Torso, Adv, Crit. .The stopping shot root is must though and some form of ability to allow a steady decline in health for the jedi , such as a pet munching on them constantly or if you are a combat medic dropping poison on him can be usefuletc

Keep in mind that they don't know your template.

A 69 level pet is still going to cause damage (50-300 every few seconds depending on the level of the jedi), this can cause confuion. So in those first few precious seconds, when he is not buffed or his force is down, he has been completely surprised, I have found that even big fish, like the 220Ks , will not react accordingly to their expereince and lose. I am sure that any day now , I am going to follow all my rules andstill get creamed by a Jedi, but the fact is that 12-1 won't be bad, heck I would have taken50-50 and thought it was great. So keep CH, it is a fun profession, and if you have one high level pet, you will see that he or she will cause 1500-2000 points of damage before the fight is over, that is extra heals the jedi has to burn while you are hitting with your krayted weapon for 380-800 damage consistently. The "confusion" factor of a high level pet is its single best asset.

The only thing you have to worry about is if the pet gets the killing blow you might not get paid (you do get your player rating up and the jedi dies without losing xp), it is a small bug that happens.
