Since patch 22, I have done about 30 missions, and only one Boss, the rest were elite.

I've gotten several double golds, none of them were as hard as the bosses that I fought before pub 22. Those were a good fight, these new ones, well I've gotten green, blue, white and yellow double chevrons. I've actually looted better off silver chevron since the patch.

So far I've gotten two Double Chevron Gold Elites that both had HAMs around 37k. They can get pretty tough (depending on their weapon versus your armor) and take a LONG time to kill. My general method is to keep them Thyroid Ruptured and Shocked while keeping +Blind+ on them all throughout the fight. I use Duelist Stance to increase their miss rate - using Underhand Shot to knock them down before recharging the stance. So far as damage output goes I stack Poison/Fire/Bleed on them and alternate my shots between Critical/Leg/Torso.

I have been noticing that as well, although occasionally i do get one that is above 30k HAM. Other than the HAM though, I notice no difference between the two as far as loot. So I guess you can consider yourself lucky when you get one that is 18k HAM, means you will be done that much quicker and ready to do another mission
