Their using the cool down exploit and any Jedi that would be foolish enough to use it against a BH is pretty stupid. It's very easy to greif a Jedi when you can follow them around indefinately and attack them when ever you want. If a Jedi used this exploit with me, I would keep getting their missions day after day and ruin their fun in anyway I could until they quit

But I'm a Baztard, maybe you should think of becoming one too?

Turn on time stamp. If he is spamming Head hit every second he is using an exploit. Send the pic to SOE.

Also, in mostevery onlinegame there has always been second party software to cheat. Ultima online back in the day had UO Extreme, a free download where you can see invisible players along with numerous other cheats. Everquest had Show Everquest which gave you all the mob spawns in the whole zone. List goes on and on. don't assume SWG is immune.

If this is the Jedi I think it is, he has his PvP rating listed in his bio--it was crazy, like 1750. He killed me once in 20 seconds, and I was fully buffed and using a health buff crystal, andhad about 5300 health.

Heis either a) very good, or b) cheating. But I have no proof of the latter, so I won't accuse him.

PVP rating like the Jebay title post cu means nothing. There are people now who farm pvp rating points by spamming at the village, will give you free shuttle service back to starport, Others duel and let him win so they don't have to travel 5k back to the starport. Each duel win earns him pvp rating points.

Or... they only PvP in large groups. This almost always assures you'll have a good (but false) PvP rating. I don't watch out for the people with 1600+ PvP ratings. It's the guys with 1250 that I watch out for. I've been taken for a fool more than once, when I didn't take a 1250 seriously. I'm convinced he intentionally lowered his score as a few others I know have done.

Why? I would only attack when they are in a weak position and I'm smart enough not to be seen when following a mark around. They would have to prove I was intentionally greifing the person and without hate /tells, which I never ever give, that's gonna be a pretty tough case

LOL.... because the EULA says so. Devs and CSRs have expanded on that to say that a BH who intentionally picks up a Jedi's mission in a specified time (think it was a week) is considered "griefing" the other player. Griefing is a bannable offense, according to the EULA.

And they certainly would know it was you. Jedi get an onscreen and combat message that says who gave them the deathblow. If you DB a Jedifrom BH missions, 5 times in one week, and they report you... it's an easy check for a CSR to go into your mission history/combat history to see who you had missions on.

I've seen it happen. They didnt' ban the player I knew, but suspeneded his account for 2 weeks.

*EDIT*

Further... the game is a gigantic database. It logs and records everything that you do. Somewhere, someplace there is a little nook in the database with your name it. It has a record of everything that you've done over a specified time period. To save space the will either completely dump or dump to backup actions from a certain period in the past and prior. Perhaps they keep records from 3mo ago and newer, maybe a year? Maybe the have the storage capacity to keep the entire game history from day one, who knows. They point is that they do track everything and have been proven to use those logs in the past.

I don't know how to use the cooldown exploit but I believe I've been a victim of it and I have been accused of using it.

I'm a pistoleer and I use advanced quickdraw in unison with attack combinations. But on my combat logs you will not see me hitting every second (sometimes its like 3:55 then hit on 3:56 then on 3:58) but their not the same attacks in a row and at 1.25 mod speed you'd figure it would look like that.

But it is a shame that the real exploiters are not dealt with. I know of a few Jedi that I suspect.
