ISecondly, I would like to say that I sympathize with all the "true" bounty hunters out there. Now,when I say "true" I mean you play the profession because you love it andnot because you want to 5 man gank squad harass a Jedi that ticked off your guild in some fashion or another. It is because of people like this that names are being taken off of the terms. Don't blame us (Jedi)for this and don't blame SOE. Blame your brethren wannabe's who do nothing but day and night harass others with the currentsystem. They are the reason that it's being changed. So when you get riled up when you think about this future change, you should look no further then your own ranks because THAT is where the problem started.

When I first read the TC notes, I thought that both BH and Jedi were to blame for the changes. However, I now disagree.

I strongly suspect that the new changes are being implemented to test and see how they work (after all, TC is just Alpha testing, while "Live" servers are Beta). I believe that if the devs like what they see, they will then introduce a new FRS which will revolve around BH and Jedi hunts. In order to prevent fight clubbing, they will need to remove names and the bounty pricing.

When it comes down to it, the current system is legitimate. After all, it was the devs that allowed 5 people to take missions without a mission decay. It is entirely the devs' fault that they could not foresee what actions players might take that would abuse their system, and they did not test it properly (a very common theme to SWG).

I know you are a perfect being, must be to post this, but would you please refrain from speaking on behalf of others? kthnks

You quote where I "spoke on behalf of someone else" and I'll gladly apologize. As it stands the entire post was from MY perspective with apologies from ME. Personal pronouns.... gotta love 'em. The moment you see "I apologize on behalf of all Jedi" or "We are sorry" then you can make this grossly innacurate statement.

I'M sorry that THEY are idiots. <<---- This in no way, shape or form represents or even elludes to a representation of anyone other then myself. So, before you criticize, I suggest reading and understanding.

It's amazing how a gesture of apology is quickly turned into something it's not. The human condition at it's finest. Some people just aren't happy unless they're making someone else miserable.

Thank you for illustrating the fine condition that our online community is in.

BH to jedi (nice one for a change)

/shrug dont worry about it all the new patch does is weed out those that dont want to play the proffesion most serious BHS have gone through enogth nerfs to know how to change their temp quickly and effectively so they can get back to what they love (a lesson not learned by some of our brethern)

As for the two "halves" of both professions...yeah, they are there. Whether it be BH or Jedi...there seems to be a multitude of players that will "give it to you" either way. If they win...it's time for the "nub tells"...if they lose, it's time for the "hate tells".

I like the option for a seprerate forums.
