Thanks to those that listened to our concerns and reached this compromise.
Now the questions is this: How long before the first Jedi whinefest over this?
3 hours and 14 minutes.

Not much whining yet ![]()
But some concerns though;
1) How will this work on Kashyyyk? For as far as I know seekers don't work there...
2) Is the name given when you send out the seeker even when the jedi isn't on the same planet? If so, why bother with changing the terminals at all....

1) Kashyyyk is still unresolved. I think that seeker droid usage should be restored on the planet with this change.
2) Name is only given with SEEKER droid use, not Arakyd Probe Droid use. Therefore, you must be on the same planet as the Jedi before you get a name. This is a fair compromise of the matter, IMHO.

1) I hope they fix Kashyyyk for you guys ![]()
2) This averygood thing ![]()
All in all a nice change, for the better of both parties involved.
I will wait to see testing results regarding Kashyyyk before I make assumptions. It isn't that the Seekers "don't work" on Kashyyyk. You can launch them, and they give a message (something about there being too much life to get a fix on the mark), so I would guess that even though you won't get a WP/location for your mark, you should still get the mark's name from the seeker. We'll see what the testers say.

I'm a Jedi and former BH. I'm still happy about these changes. I did think BHs were getting a little too much of a shaft from the Devs on this one.
This is a great compromise. You still get a name so you don't have to tab through targets, but it's far enough down the process line that gank squads and mission holding are still not viable.

Is this for sure how it works? Names will not be returned by seekers if the jedi is not on that planet? Can any BH's on TC confirm this? Otherwise, the other poster was correct, nothing has changed except you need to get a biosig first.
I take it this means I won't be killing Jedi in Coronet anymore? ![]()
So I guess now they'll just rampage throughall the major hubswith nothing to stop them but opposing Jedi and random BH's now and then... sounds like more people will notice the mass amounts ofJedi. Don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.
I guess what I mean is it's great for the Padawans, but it's great for the Knights too. I'm totally going to miss seeing Knights dueling and frantically running to the BH terminal.

Yes, I'm positive. You can verify it with the testers responding in the threads on this forum regarding when the name is given.
Still doesn't work for Kashyyyk tho. ![]()
