Except that it is against the EULA. Accounts can get banned for it, and if you purchase an account and the original owner gives some info to SOE he can "steal" it back from you.
This is also the kind of action that allows people to open up small companies, purchasing individual accounts and then farm credits or grind characters for a living, which in turn a) screws up the in-game economy even more and b) ties real-life money to in-game assets, pretty much turning a game into serious business. Both are not good things if you ask me.

This will never happen. SOE is supporting item trades by running a junior version of Ebay. It's called station exchange which is already in effect for Everquest 1 and 2. Only a matter of time it hits the rest of their online cash cows.

Wow. I just read up on the Station Exchange. It looks like a good idea from SOE. It's designed to make them even more money, but at the same time, it stops people from not completing the sale also, which as I've seen happens quite often.

All it would take is Tiggs or Thunderheart to check with the CSR staff for this idiots profile in the game.

All you have to do is run a search through the database for a mando chest plate on his server. That list will be about 1-2 maybe 3 names on it. Quick glance and the file, and you will see who this fool is.

Untill or unless the EULA changes, this is a ban-able offense. I say, ban him, and delete the character.
