The only thing i don't like about this new change is that inactives votes no longer count. Their free to still use my land but i don't get their vote? Something is seriously wrong with that picture. Other then that i think this change is great! We actually do have to work to earn our xp now.. I applaud the devs there, but they really need to rethink this whole inactive issue

This Post was locked and edited by Garva. It was apparently a post about what Jedi are on the Ryatt Trail and what time. Garva wrote over the original poster saying we are ONLY doing it to intentionally harrass players. After all the talk about how seekers don't work on Kashyyyk, and the 'learn to hunt' arguments, I would think that not only is posting Jedi names/locations in the BH forum acceptable, but is rather creative. I honestly missed the original post, so I don't know if it contained any further instructions for 'harrassing' other than just getting the missions and hunting the Jedi, so I apologize in advance if that was the reason for the lock. However, it clearly says 'these lists' are going to stop. If that is the case, and the lists are only being posted because our seekers were taken away and a few BH's showed some creativity, then it would seem SOE is taking the stand that BH hunting Jedi really is a form a griefing, and should just remove it from the game entirely. I am a long time BH, and it is my only fun in the game. I shouldn't have to worry about being penalized for being innovative in my hunting strategies, especially when the tools given to me to hunt are removed from entire planets. If hunting is griefing in SOE's perception, then please just take it out now, and save us the grief of going through nerf after nerf.

The 'griefing' part, im sure, was targeting a 'specific' player. Keep in mind I dont condone afk grinding, but targeting specific players (there or during GCW .. reasons for the stuff going on test) is the issue.

Seems to go against what Garva just said.

wow...that only further clarifies that the devs intend on kashyyyk being a risk free jedi factory...

any attempts to try to locate these jedi result in us being accused of harrassment but when a jedi run's to the LOS bug....they are both exploiting and harrassing the bh because he is unable to attack them yet to them this is ok

Our server runs a public chat channel to report jedi sightings but im sure this will be shut down as a cry of harrassment.

When we're being censored for using the forums in place of the seeker droids, and with the patch notes (maybe, if they're legit) nerfing us to hell, back, and then back to hell again, I forsee a time a few months down the road when I will be the only non-Jedi on my server.

Pleeeeease, let's not act all charitable and helpful because you were providing a "service."

Whoever made up the lists simply listed who THEY saw grinding there. The lists aren't all-inclusive, they target specific players who happened to be around while someone ran by and wrote their name down.

It's the equivalent of saying, "Warryyr grinds 4000m from the Science Outpost at 3301, -8029! Go get him!

Just because seekers aren't working on Kashyyyk doesn't mean you can list random Jedi players' names on the forums and calling them AFK grinders. Doing so on the forums is definitely harassment. Your list doesn't include everyone who grinds in the caves, you can't guarantee only constantly AFK people are on the list, and your defense doesn't hold water.

You're not providing some service to BH's, your harassing specific players that were listed in the threads. Plain and simple.

If you have personal lists, email them to friends, but don't post on all of the forums so every shmo with a BH asperation can go take a crack at the Jedi you named. Let them do their own work. The post-readers aren't "real hunters" either, so don't let your hunting give everything to them, while the Jedi (who are players, too) may get their name plastered around as an AFK grinder when they may not be.

The Jedi grind isn't for everyone. That alone limits Jedi numbers.

You're not being "censored" for using the forums in place of seeker droids, you're being moderated on private forums when posts are made targetting specific Jedi and giving their possible exact locations. Do your own hunting. Share with friends who are also hunters. But the forums are not the place to list supposed AFK grinders and let every "BH" who wants to have some jollies go and bug these players. If you find an AFK Jedi in the caves, take 'em out - bring your friend. But there's absolutely no reason to plaster a list of all Jedi in the caves onto forums, it's beyond excessive.

kash is anything but risk free... On flurry we have bh's running the ryatt trails on "patrol" all the time reporting and getting jedi missions.. dont be so lazy.

1) Nerfed by the CU - Annoyed

2) SWG destroyed by the NGE - Pisssed

3) Cancellation to nerf the dev's pay check, priceless!!

I don't think it belongs on the BH forums, since it's server specific. And from GarVa's point of view, posting it there (and what possibly got it reported) was listing the names and instances and encouraging every BH to go kill them as often as possible, which WOULD be considered greifing. I don't think, listing the names and instances of people in a cetain section of the Ryyat trail would be wrong, in your server forum.

Gee whiz, which is exactly what I and many others proposed, in regards to the "real hunters" comment way up above.

I do recall suggesting a 2-person team to collect bounties on the trails, taking shifts so everyone gets some cash, or just splitting the cash. And there was a lot of "I shouldn't be forced to group, not an excuse for droids not working, blah blah."

Now, since other folks did your work for you folks and plastered Jedi names all over the forums, you guys love this "recon" idea. Then, it's taken away, and suddenly it's a great injustice.

Like Farenheit said - don't be so lazy. Find just one friend, get in the trails, report back, have a ball.

imo i see nothing wrong with ppl putting up were the jedi like to afk grind on the rryat trail. Now before i get flamed for saying afk jedi i'm stating a fact i had a bounty on a jedi and found him on the trails and he was afk along with a whole group of other jedi. I was in that group and killed him after finding out that these afk grinding jedi can get 1 to 3 million jedi xp for doing nothing but setting up a macro and pushing one button and walking away. This seems to be very very wrong because jedi can become almost full template before their one week grace period is over. So to the bh's that post where these afk jedi macroer's are well i say good job and more power to ya. And to all the jedi that will probably flame this post for it being wrong well alls i can say is you made the choice live with the consequences of it. Our seekers are turned off on that planet so we have resorted to going back to the next best intell and that would be word of mouth. So stop your crying about it being posted bottom line is if your not there then you shouldn't be concerned with it and for the afk jedi that are well its their choice live with the consequence of your decision and don't be surprised to come back to the begginning of the trails.

Lazy? I was the first one to post a "Ryatt Trail Report" on these forums.
