Nothing they can do will prevent players to want jedi, so the effect of nerfing it over and over will actually be the opposite, meaning a lot more whining.

and what would be the point of us working so hard for what we have acheived?

Jedi should be as powerful as they are.

There's a lot of effort put in to become one. It takes at least 18 weeks.

If the Jedi is getting more nerfed, then by God someone's going to whine even more.

I think the Jedi is well-rewarding as it is now. I don't have any troubles with BH's, bugs etc.

Once you get a few boxes in LS and basic Force Powers, you'll feel and see a whole new

char standing infront of you.

If you play the Jedi right in the beginning, you'll avoid the BH's as much as possible.

I personally like the Jedi as it is, perhaps some more PvE focus would be nice,
but that's just my thoughts, some fancy PvP more.

If you can't take the challenge you face as a Jedi, leave...

i started a new account and got into the jedi town in all of a week. The 3 week rotation is not much of a grind just more of a waiting in line for your turn to be jedi. any one who wants to can become a jedi(its just a time sink). As is right now jedi is built up as the end game goal and will result sooner or later in jedi galaxies(i mean who does not want to be the most powerfull char).

Jedi took on multiple attackers in the movies. Since the movies are Lucas creations, then he would know how tough they were. Anything contrary to that is

moving away from the SW universe.

Jedi should be strong.

I also seem to remember seeing jango dispatching a jedi knight UPS style with his pistols in all of 2 or 3 shots, so maybe all bounty hunters should be this strong aswell ?

The bottom line is that in a MMORPG that is supposed to have a balnced combat system you cannot have an "alpha class combatant type" an expect balance to be maintained. This has been, is and will continue to be SOE's biggest design and balancing nightmare.

in any other mmorpg a jedi would be the equive to a lvl 60 char and normal prof lvl 50. A lvl 50 char has no chance in hell killing a lvl 60 char and thats the way it should be.

Jedi are not uniform strength! do you know how many "obi-wan kennobi's" and "anakin's" and "Yoda"? out of all the jedi.. the council...and anakin and kennobi...but the ONES that were the "powerful" ones...were not normal, they were "exceptional" while BH are not all Jango Fetts

Three reasons who Jedi should be more powerful then any other profession:

1. Jedi were designed to be the ultimate endgame (both as a reward for the work, and as another level of game play)
2. Watch the movies….nuf said
3. The Devs stated Jedi would be more powerful, more desirable, and based on this statement players have spent countless hundreds of hours obtaining Jedi, and filling out their Jedi templates.
4. Jedi, at the current, or older, higher power level are why the majority of people start and continue playing this game. When Jedi is no longer a super attractive carrot people will stop seeking it, and thus stop joining and playing SWG.

For you, who have not spent since release of this game unlocking and building a Jedi, based on the statements of Sony, is ridiculous. For all the reasons stated above Jedi is intended to be much more powerful and desirable then any other profession. If this causes you an issue, I’m sorry, but you can unlock Jedi like anyone else. Frankly, not to be rude, but if you have not unlocked Jedi you have no idea what we have put into this game, and have no place suggesting such a nurf. How long did your profession take to master, a weekend, or maybe a full week? Jedi, from unlock, to full template takes months…In my case, over a year, and I’m still not full template. Do you really think it would be fair to take away what we have earned, under the game system provided to us?

I've spent more than 4 times the amount of time developing my PVP swordsman...so by that logic, I should be able to kill you and 3 friends? Why is it that jedi are the only ones that think they put any time into their character. Sure, a jedi should be able to kick the crap out of a freshly ground out noob TKM, but not a purpose-built PVP monster with millions of creds spent along with all the time collecting the best gear.

Btw, if you are losing to a TKM / Mfencer / 4x4x medic, you might want to re-evaluate your PVP strategy unless your foe has the best gear to be had.

THE NUMBER ONE REASON ALOT OF JEDI THINK THEY ARE GIMPED IN PVP IS THAT THEY HAVE DONE NOTHING BUT GRIND AND DON'T KNOW THE FIRST THING ABOUT PVP.

but every character in other MMORPGs can reach level 60 (or what ever the end level is), i.e in DAoC everyone could hit level 50 and go out to p v p, if they chose to p v p before they hit level 50 they expected to lose. In this game you cannot expect people with completed templates to continually be farmed by jedi gangs at base raids and general run of the mill p v p, its a crazy notion called balance.

Introduction of omnipotent like characters into a MMORPG is not conducive or promoting balance, balanced envirnoments keep players playing longer, if balance gets skewed to far in favour of one player set the net result is lowered subscription rates. This game has never and should never revolve around Jedi or their contrived ambitions for omnipotnecy and unrivaled power as the end result will be servers supporting a game akin to KOTOR online, whihc was never the intent of this game. Starwars universe is a large and diverse thing and whilst jedi play a prt in that they are certainly not at the center of it.

Unfortunately many players who unlock thier Jedi characters forget this, the very notion of having balance in a game eludes them and they suddenly start acting like the game / devs and general gaming population of non jedi characters owe them something.

many of you need to get over yourselves sa you are effectively bringing the whole jedi community into disrepute and by your cries for uberness further antagonise those who would rather see more continuity to the timeline with regards to the number of active and visible Jedi in this time line.
