Bounty Hunter Archive
Thread: a few noob questions
1) You don't xp, buffs, or anything else when you die in space. You do get wounded; however.
2) Grind xp over Tatooine.
3) Just do the themepark and make sure you're in good standing with Jabba; +2500 should do it.

finally if i am a novice smuggler on the ground can i get the missions to land at jabba's palace?
Try talking to the tatooine station after you finish your tier 2 skills and ask if they have any work for you.You should be able to do the mission to be given access to jabba's palace without doing the theme park then.
Altough I'm a smuggler alliance pilot, I have no idea if other pilot factions can do it.
Also where is a good place to grind pilot besides the missions, i am currently 1111 reb.

To answer your questions -
1. Are there any NPC jedi missions? Nope. At least, not yet....
2. If there are NPC jedi missions do you need to be master bounty hunter to take them? As above
3. Do you need to be master bounty hunter to take a player jedi mission (I've read yes but heard some say different in game)? You need to be a master befoer you can take jedi missions, so, yes.
4. Can you tell the difference between rebel and imp jedi before you take the mission? Nope YES, actually you can. The terminal says "Rebel Jedi", "Imperial Jedi" or "Neutral Jedi" when you check the mission profile, before you accept it.
5. Can you still get a lot out of the BH profession if you are not master? I am close to master pistols and master smuggler with some healing, plan to keep pistols but wouldn't mind keeping some smuggler too.
BH is fun regardless of what lv you are at, novice / master. However, to get the most out of the profession, you really need to go master imo

Lol, damn I should pull more jedi bounties.
You "were" correct. Before (I think it was publish 20) the Jedi on the terminals had no faction information, only name. Most guilds had a Jedi Faction email list for reference. Without that list though, or your own personal information, the possibilty of same faction hunting was VERY high. For some guilds, like OBS, that created a problem. We do NOT hunt same faction Jedi for alliance purposes on our server. Others didn't care.
I had multiple "investigations" of my hunters who reportedly hunted same faction Jedi. The usualy response from the hunter was: "C'mon man.... I pulled like 15 missions, 9 were offline, 5 were on kashyyyk, this ONE last mission was on Dathomir, and he was Imperial, so after wasting an hour and a half, I attacked him, I'm sorry..."
And then I have a decision to make. Reprimand my frustrated hunter, and keep the Imperial alliance, or lie and say I did it, or do nothing. It was tough.... Now that we have the faction, there are no issues like that anymore.
