This raises a question I and a fellow guildie have been debating: Can the new BH appearance schematics or the resulting BH armor piece be converted to Mandalorian armor (or a mando schematic) in the DWB forges? I could swear I'd seen an affirmative answer to the question a while back when the new loot table went live, but I can't locate the thread. Conversely, my associate insists wecan only convertthe old looted bounty hunter armor pieces obtained from Black Sun NPCs and the like.
Mainly junk? A Smuggler wouldtake all that junk with pleasure. Instead, we usuallu have to buy then. On Radiant, the overall price would go easily as high as 1mill for all the lot...

You cannot use the BH appearance schematics, nor the resulting pieces, as a component for crafting Mandolorian armor. You can use the old looted BH armor, or newly looted BH armor, but that's it. The armor will specifically say something to the effect of, "this is used in the process of crafting Mandolorian armor".

Well, I'll try to give mypoint of viewabout this.
1. I've been playing SWG for more than nine months. I'm MS/MCHand I've never had more than 4 mill (usually much less).
2. I becameSmuggler not much time before "Slicing Revamp". At that moment I didn't read forumsalmost every day so I hadn't crates and crates of stored WUK and AUK ready for conversion into Smuggler tools (just 2 or3 crates of WUK I had bought acouple days before). Instead I had made my first run of 1k Molecular Clamps. The same that became useless after the "Revamp". So after all the thing I didn't have many slicing tools and I've been buying them since then.
3. If a BH wants to go seriously into the slicing tools market, he doesn't need to unpack houses and so. He only needs as many empty slots in inventory as types of tools he wants to trade with (they stack,after all).
4. Sometools (and only those) can get high prices in market. The prices for the other tools have been growing in an artificial way by speculators. This way things are getting much and much harder for people like me who doesn't have a lot of money and don't charge astronomical prices for the slices.
5. I'm not BH and I'm not willing to be one. Many Smugglers think like me and many others have become BH to get the tools in an easy, cheap and funnier way. That way they are sort of auto-sufficient. Apart from BH marks the tools drop from high lvl mobs that usually a Smuggler (not me at least) can't solo.
6. I have some BH clients who I don't charge for slicing because they give me for free the tools they loot. If 1 mill is not worth the work to sell those tools, why not giving them for free?
Well, this post is becoming too long. Possibly, Devs should fix this to let Smugglers get their tools in and easier (cheaper) way, but until this happens (if ever) we have to deal with BHs so I would ask them to make our life just a bit easier.
if people ask me for a price they will always pay more than if they say will you sell me x for y amount.
Get out farm some low level faction mobs and sell faction at 150 cpu, and you will be rich in no time.The thing is that I want to make things in game, not just stand next to terms or farming low lvls for faction. I don't play many hours a day and I don't want to spend most of my time doing nothing interesting.
In the other hand, for doing many of the interesting thingsI need armor and weapons that cost much money. Money I lack so it's a neverending story, lol.

Didn't take long at all. I alt+tabbed out of the game after each mission, and wrote down the stats in notepad. Then I just copy+pasted here on the forums.
