Seriously, that is a fair amount of kills, but again it depends on a few things. For instance.... I have spent as much as 2 hours tracking a single jedi before (following to a few different planets... then to Kashyyyk) before I got the kill. If I had a bunch of those.... even though I may be completely successfull, I haven't got very many kills.
Or, I could take a bunch of missions, and do 6 in two hours cause halfareon same planet and the other half are on Dant, oustide MO grinding.
You are a veteran PvPer, and a full template jedi also... so you had the biggest head start anyone can get going into BHing. So it's not too big a suprise that you are doing well to start off with. But you should check how many times you have lost as well as won. I have had a winning streak as big as 5 jedi be broken by a padi that shoots a rifle (before I learned how to deal with them, oddly enough, now that I am ready... it hasn't happened again). I have gone toe to toe, not even trying to kite some padis, jumped straight into a knight next, rolled him, then his buddy wants to duel me for fun, beat him.... then I get whacked the next round out. It comes and goes like the tide.
The biggest thing that causes me to lose is patience. I try to case every jedi, get info on him, watch him (or his waypoints) as long as I need to tell what he is doing and if/when he is vulnerable. but when I am doing well, I sometimes lose that patience and just rush in. Oh well.
Dark, instead of asking us if you are doing well, just ask yourself the following, "am I having fun". In the end, that's why any of us really BH.

nice try but Katana on Lowca had over 500 before the CU when we were semi-gods. He even got a badge from a CSR for it.
