what proof do you have that he was a MDEF?

he told me after wards he was mdef said he forgot to put his aura up

Just to clear up, the initial shot (Sniper Shot) hit for 3104 damage. This persons armor absorbed 1408 of that, meaning that the actual damage (i.e deducted from health) was 1696.

Also, the damage mitigated is less than 50%. A Master Defender would have 7000 armor, which translates to 56% damage mitigation which confirms that this mark was not Master Defender. Enhancer 0400 grants 6000 armor, which translates to roughly 48% mitigation, which matches the figures shown in the combat log. This Jedi (based of those armor figures and the 226K payout) most likely was one of these two templates:

1. Master Lightsaber, Master Enhancer, Healer 4040.

or

2. Master Powers, Master Enhancer, Healer 4040.

Very nice kill and that's a heck of alot of damage, but one thing I noticed, that guy wasn't master defender, the damage reduction seems to be around 45% (master def is 52%). Even without aura running I have had a hard time hitting a master defender, that fight went on over an hour and we gave up.

meh i realy suk at Bounty Hunter (well just pvp) does it take a while till u can take down a jedi? I mean is there a post on wot foods buffs ect u should av? i got killed by a jedi padawan today in AH in 3hits. i got 8064ish energy reisistance but im only lvl71 atm

maybe because im a good bounty hunter? i have all the right foods, i have patience, good equiptment (not uber yet though) good template. plus ive been pvping in on line games for 8 years ive been playing daoc for the past 3 years which is all pvp when u pvp every day for 3 years u get pretty good, and no disrespect meant but alot of swg players just aint on the same level as other games ive played cause its not pvp based.

The trick to most kills are attack them when they are at there weakest. If a Full temp Jedi sees me comming has all hes food spices auras up n is ready i proabaly aint gonner win.

oh btw from testign id say accruacy mods add about 2 damge a point of acc for base shots so for sniper its even more, with 50 from genearl and rifle u get about 100 extra damge a shot, Drinking pyro before a sniper shot will add 1000 damge to the shot

I am one of the jedi Akast got yesterday. As he said he knows his stuff and times his attacks well. I make no excuses for dieing to him (infact his attack was very well done). I am by no means a slouch when it comes to pvp. He waited until I was attacking a SF Detach headquarters and had 5-6 level 88+s on me. Good call on his part.
