If you want to hunt Jedi, and have the best tracking skills possible (unless you were MBH) pick up Invest. 4, and if you still have enough skill points, you should probably pick up the pistols tree in BH.

Personally i started off with getting Novice Pistoleer then got the bh pistol tree maxed before going onto the pistoleer stats. As i didn't go MBH(yet), i then turned to other things dabbled in smuggler pistol tree till i got bored of it and now am exploring with launcher pistols and grenades in the commando tree. It all depends on what weapons you want to use. But i wouldn't use the llc imo as they are to slow. What ever you choose good luck =)

This is my current template:
Master Pistoleer
BH 0040
Smuggler 0030
Novice Commando
FSEnhanced Reflexes4400 (Ranged & Melee Defense +20)
Definitely do the novice pistoleer and then BH pistols tree first. After this train the pistoleer techniques tree and use your combat xp to train in the pistoleer stances tree. This will nearly cap your pistol speed and give you the best specials available to pistoleer/bh.

Hey people,
Iam currently MBH and v nearly TKM. I need a little help though as I am still getting use to the CU, aint played in a while. A couple of questions.
1. Is there such a thing as NPC jedi missions? Or are all rebel, imperial jedi, player characters.
2. What about NPC boss missions. I hear talk about these, but when i browse the BH mission terminals I just get:
29k ish missions normal hunts I guess
50k missions Jedi, player characters PvP
and thats it!
3. I am combat level 73 and get owned my NPC lvl 79 hunts where am i going wrong?? I got armor 4017 energy,6000 kineticand about 5000 on everything else. Ok weapons,I think, about 488-950 dam 318 DPS? thats heavy lightning rifle,CU has changed a lot and screwed up all my old stuff.
Thanks in advance, If I think of more I won't hesitate to ask

A couple things man,
1. mixing ranged and mele is not a good idea post CU
2. LS do energy damage now so if you are fighting jedi players that armor is the worst possible
Other than that yes NPC missions exist, the bosses spawn out of those regular NPC missions, you just have to get lucky enough to have a boss MOB spawn for your mission. Im not sure about the payouts or how to tell between player and non player missions as I am not a BH. Hope it helps though.

Yeah it did cheers. What would you recommend then. I really only chose TKM as I had it before CU and loved it, plus the wound heal helps. Is it poss to dabble in medic and get wound heal? As well as mastering anotherelite prof.I definatly want to keep MBH though. Any ideas?

well...
Current FOTM Bh template is along the lines of
MCM/MBH with two trees of your chosen ranged skill
this temp offers the added DPS of DOTs from MCM as well as nice debuffs and state effects, not to mention better healing than a jedi ever thought of
The only other viable temp is MBH/(your choice of elite ranged skill)/CM 4000
this temp allows for loads of attack options, nice def and great heals at 4000 CM which will allow you to heal wounds as well. Some folks wil tell you to go 4000 doc, but you are giving up SP if you chose that path as your ranged skills require the ranged support line already, just one more medic tree to pick up and you are set.

I use TKM MBH, Novice Medic as my template. I wouldnt recommend changeing your template if you like TKM, TKM is an excellent choice for NPC missions.
You have to remember that the master TK box gives you +20 on your TK armour that makes a huge difference, Also remember that TK armour seems to work best when not holding a gun. Using 1200+ Stim D's a +19 HE shirt and novice medic, will give you all the heals you could wish for, next up is your weaponry, Katarn Knuckles are THE TK weapon, some people swear by the Nightblade for the skill mods, but I think the out right damage of the Knuckles makes all the difference 877 damage with some speed enhancing ca's makes nice easy work of boss marks, Might be teaching granny to suck eggs, but keep COB up at all times and drink ruby bliel to cut down stim times to 30 sec's.
TK no longer need armour they have built in innate armour unequip all your armour and run around in some nice BE skill enhanceing clothes. Once you get your TKM box you shouldnt need to touch healing against anything other than a boss mark. But its nice to have there as a back up. Spend a few hours leveling in groups from MO to get you TKM, get yourself a set of katarn knuckles a nice damage Powerup, a damage \ critical \ speed slice and make sure youa rent even wearing armour gloves boot or belt. seriously I accidentally left on my BH armourgloves whilst fighting once and wandered why I was getting my ass kicked and why no armour mitigation was showing up in combat spam
.
With nice foods and the right equipment TKM MBH is a nice combo PvE.
There are no NPC Jedi BH missions, there is a NPC jedi on kashyyyk you can fight but dont consider it training for real Jedi hunting. There are also random Dark Jedi Knight spawns on Dantooine, attack them only if you happen to like visiting cloners
.
TKM doesant work well Vs Jedi, but you can still get the kill with strategy.
