Thread: You ever get hit by a saber for 1200?

I would hate to say exploit, but if it was REALLY every second, I would look into it. From my understanding, a MLS cannot hit more than once every 2 seconds, but I MAY be wrong. Not sure what it can get too with foods and buffs and carefull timing.
I don't forgive a Jedi for exploiting anymore than a BH, and I would call for a permaban on either one exploiting to kill each other. Sorry, but exploiting Jedi are giving me a bad name along with those who abuse cloaking. They just hurt the playerbase more by getting stuff nerfed because of a few bad apples.

oh golly people. he wasnt hitting you Every second. It a simple case of chat lag. happens all the time. He may have been FAST and he may have been hitting you hard and you may have just picked a powerhouse. I've dueled and fought jedi where it could go on a long time.. and i've fought jedi that smacked me around in less than 5 hits.. as botha BH and A JEdi. So stop crying foul everytime you get your pants handed to you.

it boils down to this...was he a pre-cu jedi with a pre-cu glow-stick ?
if yes, he can hit up to 2k. i have seen pre-cu glow-sticks with over 1k dps
if he is waving a post-cu glow-stick, he is exploiting plain and simple. there is no way a post-cu glow-stick can hit that hard.
disprove me with screen shots, not just "what you saw once 3 weeks ago." prove it.
not neccisarily pre/post cu craft saber.. whats important is the pearls in it - post CU unlocked jedi are not usually able to locate flawless/premium pearls - so lose 30-40% of the damage from thier saber that people with these pearls (provided they tuned well) will have. Post CU crafted sabers can actually have better efficiencies than pre cu ones due to the fact that pre cu hilts all converted to 100 SAC etc. not to mention LS experiment tapes

Has this ever happened to you? Is this and exploit or justa saber with perfect pearls? If its just asaber with perfect pearls, we are going to be in trouble if premiums start dropping again.
Did you have duelist stance running? I only seem to get hit that hard if this occurs:
Pre CU saber and I am on the ground after a KDand I am not running my duelist stance macro (because I forgot).
He also could have used Armor Break, again duelist macro should help deflect a nice portion of it if it is running.

Heh, seems like if you're gonna cheat you do it against someone that might not be able to catch you... but if you do it against another jedi, he's more likely to know what you should and shouldn't do.
As far as someone else said about having duelistic stance on... I'm still not convinced that it is worth the time it takes to turn on. Here's why. The extra defense that it adds, only mitigates a small amount of damage, since Jedi saber min and max damage is so close. Only thing it really helps with is if you have enough defense you might get missed while you have it running (and if you have been saber broke.. that's a big thing.)
