Thread: how would you slice this?

So I just had a guy build me an Advanced Laser Rifle.
Attack Speed: 2.59
My modified speed: 1.56
Damage: 485-1130
Accuracy Bonus: 17
Wound: 14.95%
Estimated DPS: 311.32/Sec
My modified DPS: 517.6/sec
Range 0-65
SAC: 85
I've not had it sliced or ADK'd yet. What would be my best option, do you think? I'm a MBH/MR/CM 4000.

as rifles are rather slow i would go with a teir 4 speed slice

see if you can cap the damage, if you have anything remaining on customization go for a speed slice.

I've already got the ADK, so I won't be wasting any money on it. So you're telling me that this rifle isn't worth working with? There're four 138 damage Krayt Tissues in there, were those bad components?

slice for speed then damage and bang a SAC pup on it, might as well ADK it until you spot something better then destroy it andretieve the adk.

I would full speed slice it and use dam pups with this rifle... not worth to dam slice it as it is nearly capped.
If u want use speed pups u should dam and crit slice it as much as possible. id say5% crit and 4% dam.

I'd Crit slice it, fully. Man, its not far off dam cap, speed is alright. Stick on a dam pup and it'll go to around 1300 max dam, get yourself some general ranged speed and rifle speed tapes and you get the same effect as a speed slice, but the 10% chance of double dam, plus the added bonus of adv crit, is to hard for me to pass up. Even with my 3% crit chance rifle, not using any crit shots, I get a crit at least once every fight, and double dam for one hit more then makes up for 50 dam less overall.

The SAC is low enough that I would go for a speed slice. You won't get enough DPS boost out of a damage slice (4% dam/speed is all you could manage). Go critical hit if you have enough speed mods that shooting it already gives you action problems.

Do a full speed slice, put it really low, you'll be shooting like once every second lol.
