If you don't get the Jedi's name from the seeker, i'm pretty surethe jedi won't be able to use the /duelto find out if you have hismission. Try it.

I've done extensive testing with this over the past few weeks, whether it gives the "This person can already attack you" message seems completely random. I've tried the house theory, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Tried different planets. Tried being combatant, overt, on leave. I've tried everything. I know in games nothing is actually random, but i can't figure the trigger out for this one.

I think i shall test this out sometime this week ..would be nice if it is true.

A jedi's "exploit" on this does not give him an "I win" button... When bh's enjoyed the /duel exploit, it locked a jedi out from being able to attack in defense at all... he just had to bend over and take it while the bh destroyed him.

A far worse exploit would you not agree? And one almost every BH used almost every time back in the day.

/duel is not big thing, he knows you are there, he's just confirming what he already knows... Try better tactics at stalking your prey.

Correction, if the Jedi knew that the BH was after him, he'd be running. Using the /duel exploit just gave him the advantage as the BH no longer has first strike capabilities(our main advantage)

That being said, yes there are more things that need fixing, but this should have been a very simple fix, so why not fix it now, after all it is a bug, one that a lot of BH have been whining aobut for a very long time.

If I remember correctly, they did this "you are already attacking that target" when you send a /duel because before a /duel would disallow you from attacking back unless you /dueled in return and often than not you wouldn't see that message in the middle of an attack.

ya, back when BH could do it it was nasty, i found out about it quite by accident, i had pulled a friends mission for him because he wanted to test some things, we were in teh same group, so we tried fighting and i thought it was because we were in the same group. I had dueled him thinking we needed to duel to fight(had forgotten i had grabbed his mission) but he missed it, and i had forgotten to /unduel(so to speak)

I'm happy they fixed that, but needless to say, it was something that needed fixing.

Now all that needs fixing is med droids in combat, it's rather dumb what we can do with those droids right now , simple area heal and it's back up and running, and at full healing capacity.
