the ones i actually didnt kill in 10 seconds were tkm / BH and they stood their grounds. Most tkm / bh types tend to last 45 seconds against me. Any ranged BH are mucheasier for me to kill.

After pub 19, its assumed by many that a CM / BH will give fully templated jedi a run for their money. I still say it depends on your template.

I think you also have to factor in the template of the jedi you fight. There wont be one flavor of the month that can do well against all jedi. Take a look at powers templated jedi. After pub 19, they're getting a serious boost. Your armor wont matter as force choke bypasses it. So a tkm / bh withhis toughness might stand a better chance against a MPowers than a ranged type who rely on their armor.

I know some jedi who have trouble against doc / bh or cm / bh as master defenders. They can tank forever, however most dont take MLS with it so they cant outdamage the enemies heals. Master powers users used to have problems with that template because of force costs (but those are being reduced by 50% pub 19). A balanced jedi will have no trouble with cm / bh.

I have the utmost respect for the BH who do try and solo because you must rely on cunning and cleverness. However, I still dont think any template solo can do much.

And keep in mind, we all dont know exactly how the changes from 19 will effect things. Today's flavor of the month template is tomorrow's weak sister

My template works well for hunting 200k's. The highest I've gone was something like 215 and won. I can't solo EVERY 200k, but it works most of the time.

The trick is to get good Bacta Shot and Bacta Spray enhancers. Although Bacta Spray can sometimes bring agro (if you're REALLY close to some creature), it still stands that Bacta Spray and Bacta Shot are two heals you can use while running. Bacta Toss requires you to stop for a second.

So what I do is use the Bacta Shot first, then the Spray, then the Toss only if rooted or if I need it. I'll use Stim Ds and Ruby Bliels on Macro if necessary to save Mind.

I usually use a Max damage pup'ed proton carb. Foods are mainly blob candy, caf, that swirl thing, neutron pixie, and brandy. Crispic too. It usually works pretty well.

I have two nice rifles that I use for hunting. One has a SAC pup on it the other a damage pup. I use the SAC rifle to chip away at my targets force and keep my action up. Then when the target is low I switch to the high damage rifle and use my spices/foods and go all out.

MBH/MC/4xxxCM - x3xx FS ranged speed - Asortment of carb spd/accattatchements.

E11mkII - 1.0 mod'd spd, 1028 Mdmg, 75 SAC (has spd pup on it)

Sometimes put states on them (blind + DuelStance and you can have some FP miss you), when stun works it will be ideal to lay on them, I bleed, but above all, I come in firing mostly dmg at first to hopefully catch off guard enough to lay in some dmg or overwelm them and get an incap.

Fighting marks like this IMO picking the proper time to attack is important. Get'n them slightly off guard gives you the edge you need alot of the time.

Yeah, remember that your biggest friend is surprise. Unless you do something suspicious (read: plant a camp site near their cantina, etc) you probably won't get someone using the /duel /endduel exploit. So just hang back and wait until they're in a compromising situation (many NPCs on them, or if they're channeling).

I nice trick I learned with master smuggler is to use improved concussion shot (which is being changed) and stand within saber throw range and let them incap you. Normally it will be a short incap and as soon as you stand up with about 10 health, use last ditch and hit for around 4k (my record is 5600 which was pretty nice), even with defenses on. I have used this a couple times, and most jedi haven't figured this out and don't tend to AI after I get up.

Why are you guys still using brandy? Doesn't it have around 40-50 filling? That is about 3 Ruby Bliels. I use Blob Candy for my action regen and I don't worry about buffing my health regen. By the way, it is my understanding that the action regen buff from Blob Candy will not stack with the action regen buff of Brandy. If I'm wrong about that, then I guess I could sort of see why you'd use it, but even then you're giving up something like 3800 points of damage for a little quicker action regeneration.

Also, don't underestimate the power of DoTs against Master Defenders. Considering how much damage they mitigate with Aura running, the ~350 point burn from my PFTbecomes very significant.

One more thing, make sure that you have Ranged Shot set as your auto attack. You can run it while you're waiting for your action to regenerate in between killer combos.

Oh, and I forgot to add to make sure that you are aware of what buffs/debuffs your mark has on him at all times. I know it's pretty obvious, but if you're unloading all your shots into him while he has Avoid Incaprunning it's going to do nothing except leave you vulnerable for attack. You should probably just laya blind on him and focus on keeping him away from you. Similarly, if you notice that your mark doesn't have Aura running for one reason or another then it's a great time to go for the incap.
