No, I wouldn't. Because not all non-Jedi are spiteful like you. They, in fact, enjoy playing the game - whereas by all accounts, based on your posts, your gameplay is one big hatefest. Excuse me while I yawn.

Anyone who hates a game shouldn't pay to play it. It's common sense.

Sorry but if you think there are a bunch of people playing this game that are happy about the Jedi situation, your lying to yourself.

True, SOE figured out how to silence and playcate most of them by giving them a free Jedi charachter, but not everyone is so weak minded.

Don't change the subject, stick with me here - we were talking about people who hated the CU. People who lost skills, armor certs, weapon certs, income etc from the CU.

We are NOT talking about how much people don't like the Jedi situation.

If they don't like playing the game due to the CU, they should quit.

A free Jedi character? Ha. Have you even done any of the Village or Force Sensitive grind? Even with double xp it's hardly free. It takesa lot of time.

I have a suggestion....
Why not make the jedi profession ment to be temporarily only?
So every characrter that unlocks can stay jedi and grind the skills until he/she gets DBd by some other player (BH or overt opposite faction jedi). When the jedi gets DBd he looses the jedi unlock and becomes a regular character again. You wont actually loose your items, house, speeders, mounts etc, only your jedi skills. The character may do a new skill respec to regualr skills when DBd. After that the jedi slot can't be reopened again with that character.
This is to be working with a server cap on jedi population, so there can never be too many jedis around. I'd say 10 light and 10 dark jedis would be fine. And when any of them gets DBd (or the account is unused for a long time) some other player gets to unlock jedi.
This way all gaming comminity has the chance of playing jedi without risking to loose thier characters and without overpopulating jedi and unbalancing the game.
What do you think?

Don't post while intoxicated please.

No one came to this game to grind out months of work (pre CU Downgrade and pre publish 9) to have it all taken away by a or person in less then 20 seconds.

And they don't even stay on topic with the trolling, either. It's just spite-filled blatherings coming at me from all angles.

The fun ones are those who stay on topic - butthis is just tiresome.

" If they don't like playing the game due to the CU, they should quit. "

This is like the 10'th time I have seen you say, for variouse reasons, to " just quit ". For someone who claims to be a fan of the game, you sure don't seem to care about making it better.

" just quit " is not constructive at all. Unless were talking about Jedi quitting, ofcourse.

Oh no they just lost entire skills. The ability to wear certain armor. The ability to use their weapons. The ability to make money crafting / dancing. The loss of a role in the game. Had entire inventories of gear convert into useless trinkets. Respect. Etc etc
But yeah. Poor Jedi might lose a skill box or two. Thats MAJOR !

Try 14 million experience, gained at 1k per kill (at higher levels). A box or two? Think again. You don't know what you're talking about.

As for losing entire skills, that was a RESPEC problem, and CS is involved in that. That's not a direct result of standard gameplay (like dying). It's a programming error. As for the armor/weapons/making money from crafting and dancing, those are changes related to the CU. Some people liked them and stayed. Others hated it and left. If you hate it so much, leave.

They lost skill's pre pub 9, beleive me.

Which wasn't fun and had problems, so they removed it. And the system will never be resurrected, I don't think. Too many issues with it.

Uhm...Saying that some proffs got hit hard after the CU is a baed exscuse to nerf jedi.
And doing that just sucks and makes no rational sense what so ever.

Exactly, and they shouldn't put it back, it was a bad idea, any "Perma Death" idea is a bad idea, why don't people get it?
