I did the math and it comes to about 1500 hours worth of grinding or about 63 days non-stop. That's at 20k an hour.
At 40k an hour it's 750 hours grinding time or a little over 31 days non-stop.
I fail to see how grouping is/was necassary.Message Edited by _Dragonius_ on 07-21-2005 07:25 AM
Exactly. Now factor in that people do other stuff besides playing a computer game (work comes to mind). If somebody plays 3 hours every day (seems to be a high number) that 1500 hours become 500 days. That is almost as old as the game itself is.Message Edited by Eskie on 07-21-2005 04:59 PM
Well, that's how long it was originally supposed to take. Of course it doesn't matter anymore PvP has no death penalty, PvE has no death penalty, no group visibility. If a Padawan gets on the terminals then something extremely dumb was done on the part of the padawan.Message Edited by _Dragonius_ on 07-21-2005 11:52 AM
People were getting around 400k Jedi xp per hour when soloing pre-CU, post-CU group grinders get between 100k to 200k per hour. So dont say it is an easy grind now compared to "back in the times".

Taking multiple missions over and over on the same Jedi.

Bilxtev... while we have you here... do you think maybe we can get check to see if Duelist Stance is working as intended and to see if maybe we can get Tanks to tell us the cool stuff we get in Pub 21?

hrmmm, well if all of the jedi werent on kashyyyk then it wouldnt be a problem. they dont seem to think that taking multiple missions on different jedi (all being in the untouchable planet) is greifing.

Show me numbers which prove that all Jedi are on Kashyyyk. If all Jedi were on Kashyyyk, we wouldnt hear any whining about starport duelists and GCW party crashers, right? All Jedi are not on Kashyyyk, especially with the group visibility removed.

It's a helluva lot easier now then compared to back then.

I was thinking that it i the condition in which greifing never ends, but I think Tanks has it right.
Not sure how taking the same mission over and over again is considered greifing considering the Jedi must first do something (completely within their control now with the new VIS rules) in oder to get on the terminal to begin with. But, the Jedi complained about it and SoE declaired it as such, so what can you do.
But, as you can see, SoE has again taken steps to help the Jedi with this aspect by removing the names from the terminals, so now the probablility of one actually being able to "Terminal Greif" is extremely low.
