good advice so far... but I will disagree with the duelistic stance macro...... there will be times when you are kiting when you do not want to pause your damage output for a DS. Instead.... make a macro similar to that, it should only WARN yoiu when your duelistic stance is about to run out. that way you can either decide to renew it or keep on blasting away.

Yes, rifles has tha "alpha strike" so.... it's nice to sometimes be able to be at range and conceal shot, sniper shot, kd, adv crit. You'll do some good damage, but if the jedi survives the first round, you will be left with low melee defenses and a slow run, so you won't be kiting.

I find that Pistols are inherently more well suited to BHing. They can help you deal with the times when a BH catches up to you (disarming shot, better melee def, etc.) ..... and it'll help you keep the jedi away from you more often (nice root, faster running)

So, I would try MBH / MPist / CM4000

Or for a little more offensive power, try the highest SUSTAINED damage rate offered for ranged profs..... MBH / MCarb / CM 4000. This gives you Adv Critical shot and Imp Leg shot.... alternate those, and you'll have a jedi healing very often.

I have used several different templates to hunt jedi and I will say this.... the only I hated more than MBH / MRifles...... was MBH / MRanger. Check out Pistols, you just might like em.

I use Ahrisa, Vegisparine, Ruby Bliel, V Brandy, Crispic, and Booster Blue. I have had quite a bit of luck with this combo. I also have tantel armor with 8025 Energy resist fully sliced for armor break, so saber break doesnt really effect me much. Other than that I dunno what it could be. Equipment plays a big deal when hunting jedi. One of my buds is a mbh too, he uses carbines and can have tough times with jedi since it has lower energy resist and he hasnt gotten it sliced yet. Anyway don't give up. Sometimes you do get a few nasty jedi in a row. I was 20/2 in kills vs deaths the other day, then I got DBed 4 times in one day. Don't sweat it and just try some new things. BTW I am MBH/MRifle 0030 Medic 0001 Pistols.

Assuming you are not filthy rich. Do NPC BHmissions and hope you land the lottery on a nice popular Lightsabre skill or high endstack of weapon enhancersin which you will then auction it on the server boards and pocket millions. Use that cash to find the best armorsmith on the server andorder yourself thehighest Energy armor you can equip. Now get that armor sliced to 75pct armor break. Don't just hand that expensive armor to any smuggler since there are con artists out there. Find a reputable smuggler on your server..... Get yourself a low SAC weapon.. and practice, practice, practice.

ok i grinded out mcm and mbh .....now the question is .....should i go rifles or pistols.......i ahve some rifle speed stuff.....but i also am currenlty having in my possesion a set of adked ris....with pistol speed capped...general ranged speed capped.....pistol accuracy capped.....general ranged accuracy capped.....and pistol defesne capped.....and a pistol that when i use a speed pup has 678 dps. and .97.

Go Pistols for the root and use your modded clothing and hunt with a rifle. This will be very effective. You will not be disappointed.
