Avoid incap is probably the most powerful skill a jedi can have apart from a nice saber and nice specials. Thing is, with avoid incap you really dont need healer as much and youll never catch a kiter without having FR1.

My understanding is that the break down of the two templates are as follows:
Master Lightsaber/Master Defender/healer 4004 is perfect for pve. In pvp it does well, but when things go bad you can not run away. Therefore, there is no escaping doom in the end. Tis is what I had originally wanted to grind to.
Master Lightsaber/Master Healer/Enhancer 4004 is the pvp template. It can cure fire dots and everything at master healer, which leads to a higher dps. It also has the two key skills from Enhancer, the get away (force run 2) and the Meditate line, which allows for quicker force regen. However, this is very vulnerable to defensive stackers and does not work as well.
As for kiting, Master Lightsaber/Master Defender/Healer 4004 can do nothing about it. However, an experienced pvp jedi would use buildings to break line of sight vs kiters, like I had to when I was a fencer/doctor with my main character.

I'm leaning towards the defender template right now... one question tho.. Can 4004 healer cure wounds, bf, and poison/disease? (I think it can, right?)

No need for Master Healer
Total Heal Self may seem cool, but It costs a LOT of force to use.

Sorry, no. To heal wounds and bf, you would need 0200 Healer. 4004 just allows you to have a 1500 Total heal, Cure States (Dizzy, Blind, Stun, Intim), Cure Poison, Cure Disease, and stop Bleeding.
There is another template I was considering, which was a single mastery:
Master Lightsaber/Healer 4024/Defender 4003/Enhancer 4000. This allows you to have Master Lightsaber, some defense from Defender, Force Run 2, and the 0020 box of healer heals wounds of allies. This is important for me since my main pvp partner is a combat medic, who can heal mind. A variant of this, Healer 4204 allows you to heal wounds and battle fatigue.
My current jedi is Master Lightsaber/Healer 4003/Enhancer 1002 (Channel is a must for any grinding pruposes), so as you ca nsee Im also having trouble reaching a decision on which way to lean.

If you aren't going to FRS or PvP you should be fine. If you do, you'll get smoked.

Well he would get smoked 1 on 1, but if he goes in a group, He should be ok.

Heh...yea that is what I meant. Versus another Jedi with a 2 mastery build, he wouldn't stand a chance.
